I listend to only drunk on shadows and dark light on mtv.it And that will be IT. Dark light the song is pretty awesome i figured it would just be a boring poppy song but its very nice. Drunk on Shadows is a  great song as well. Good song to play live

ok to clear something up on the HT playing the album tomorrow. They arent streaming it online they are putting it up on their listening stations i talked to one of the managers from HT saturday and she told me something about sire not letting them stream the alum because it might get ripped or some shit like that

Then why does heartagram.com say that hottopic.com will be streaming it?

Yeah I understand what your saying.  But it doesn't make much sense.  Sire lets MTV Italy stream it, but won't let a US website like Hot Topic stream it.  Weird.

One of the reasons why TG and V(IOB) were taken off of Dark Light was that they wanted the album to be a bit more edgy and those songs were a little too much like "basic midtempo HIM", according to Ville. So personally I'm not expecting to hear anything mindblowing but who knows, we'll see.

alright i cracked i listend to the whole album today. Overall i think Dark Light gets a 9/10. Not perfect but still good. The only song that i actually dislike is behind the crimson door. No, i actually do not dislike it, it's just ok. You have all these great songs then this comes up. whatever. In my opinion KL is the new Join Me. I didnt think In the nighside of eden lived up to its hype about being all epic and crazy. Great song but not totally mind blowing, though it does have a cool heavy guitar riff near the end.

Stand out tracks

Killing Loneliness
Vampire Heart
Under the Rose
Drunk On Shadows
Nightside of Eden

Now i just have to wait to hear the bonus songs.

EDIT I was expecting the outros to be way better. That was a slight let down

don't say, why say something bad if you don't have anything good to say, its an opinion, which is what board discussions are about -- people discussing their opinions, its not fact.

in the nightside of eden -- voice filtered again (phased for effect, whatever), but its not ville's voice anymore; at the middle there's the terrible metal scream and the metal guitar, repetitive

play dead -- its wrought, he's acting not singing, too slow and trying to be dramatic, weak chorus

drunk on shadows -- silly title

the face of god -- wrought, typical lyrics, all sounds like ozzy (if he could sing like ville, or if ville could sing like himself, or if villeĀ  can sing without autotune) trying to be arty

where is the zeal of linde's guitar, its gone.

behind the crimson door -- pretty in the beginning, then his "new" voice goes flat

can ville say "fire' and "world" any more american? or daggerrrrrrrrrs?

they are all the same, you can count exactly when the first verse will start, then four-eight short verse, then chorus, repeat

the guitars don't soar anymore, they grind

dark light -- dull

killing loneliness -- why are the guitars kicked back so far in the beginning, live was much, much better

ville's doctored (tweaked) voice sounds like he's on medication

under the rose -- says nothing

rip out the wings of a butterfly -- still the hit because of linde

vampire heart -- silly title, sounds like horror movie, and old like a gothic band

and "poison heart" -- way, way, way better acoustic!!!

I agree with 90% percent of that. One big thing is the guitar. It's bad on the whole album except for a track here or there.

I don't agree with them as much. Its not the best album as Bam has stated so many times. Its a good solid album though.

No...not at all.  It's just that the whole thing kind of revolves around the vocals and the effects, the guitar is there...but yeah.
