Check the news section at heartagram, they have info about the LE and standard version of the album.

"Well we want to make HIM our top priority, sure Madonna is number one than HIM".

So guess what is coming up?

Yup gay disco ballin' is back.
So that will tell you what to expect.

Also on Monday for certain people you can pick up your albums already (here in America). As mentioned already HIM have chosen the new single (Yeah, "HIM" that's what we will call the label from now on).

As for the Riff sounding too much like other bands, the answer is No. The structure may sound the same; but the Musical Notes are off.

Expect some new stuff from your exclusive store once again.

Don't know about the riff, but the Killing Loneliness arpeggio sounds to me like the Join Me arpeggio, lacking two notes in the middle, and in a different key. ???

BTW, WTF happened to Madonna's right leg?  ???
And is that really the only good angle she's got left?  ???

Madonna should duet with Ville.  ???

I just thought of something super random.  Well, you know how sometimes Ville takes some words from Timo K. Mukka's poetry and it is said to be in parts of "The Funeral of Hearts" and "Behind the Crimson Door"?  What if the Finnish talking part in "Behind the Crimson Door" was like saying that part of the lyrics were ripped from Timo K. Mukka's poetry?  That would be waaaaaaay funny...

Sorry if I made absolutely no sense hehe

The Funeral of Hearts thing was Ripped from Charles Baudelaire, he has a book called the Flowers of Evil.

Actually I've understood that the talking part of BTCD is Mukka's text. Don't know from which book, though, or what is he saying.

shrinkwrap is like this:
with that on the shrinkwrap and the building cover on the inside, like normal, the special shrinkwrap was only on the first 100,000 copies released in the usa. it is the standard, non-limited, 10-track version.

slipcase is the same but like this:

the same regular (building) cd, with the 10 tracks, but with the silver heartagram thing printed on a cardboard thing that slips over the cd

limited us:

hardbook with a 28 page booklet and the cage for bonus

german digi:
11 tracks including the cage, digipack and a bonus dvd.
it is presumed that the contents of the dvd will include woab video and making of darklight. i cannot verify this as i have not recieved mine, but will post info and pictures when mine arrives.

internet edition:
12 tracks, tin box, laser pointer, and 32 page book, limited to 20,000

I still haven't got my DL.. But I couldn't resist hearing Dark Light (track), to see if most of you guys were right...

That song totally sucks.. Before this track I only hated CTTF, but this one.. OMG... That's the first track I'm gonna skip when I get my DL album...

To me, in order to the listen to the album, I have to play it all the way through, everytime I listen.  Because each song has its own feeling.

Yeah, same here. I really can't skip around to a specific track, it just has to sorta flow.

I love the little ending bit of "The Cage" Its pretty cool. But my favorite song would have to be Killing Loneliness.

Granted, there are no jinggle bells (wow, I'm tired so excuse spelling) but just picture this landscape covered with freshly fallen snow at twilight. It fits so perfectly with DL.
As far as outros: KL and VH are my favs so far. I'm liking the outros on this album.

I remember the band saying that and thinking 'what the hell, how do you do that with a HIM song and still be awesome?' But they did somehow! And think, if the band pictures that when listening and so many of us do, I'm sure the video they do for it will reflect that. I can't wait... Christmas!
