Useless post of the hour:
You can now buy Dark Light on iTunes. It is under the "other Him."

2 things that just came to mind about this CD.

1. Outros. I felt as if this Cd actually was of an more Intro Cd than outros as said before. Unless the intros are easier to notice than the outros or whatever.

2. Guitar solo. Linde was slacking. im sad. Under the rose had a pretty good solo but, i felt as if there could have been more especially in drunk on shadows.

so yeah thoughts come random to me once and a while.

True.  With all the talk of outros, I didn't really notice anything, just In The Nightside of Eden.

And I think that the line "To be engraved on the stone of my grave" in Face Of God sounds awkward, but I love the song. :)

Killing Loneliness has a pretty good outro.

It reminds me of Join Me, because its not directly aimed at literally Killing Loneliness, its sort of how you get over it. If that made any sense at all.

I still don't have anything! It's maddening. I woke up early this morning to go to the CD store and they don't have it. They're getting in 17 copies (was only 7 but I made them order more), but the truck is 4 days late because of the Hurricane. And my Internet-Only isn't here yet either. [/bitching]

Back when Dark Light first showed up on the Hastings computer, my girlfriend and I ordered 1 regular edition each, and 1 limited each. A few weeks later when the computer showed how many they were getting, it was 5 regular and 2 limited. (So we may not have gotten any limited if we hadn't ordered some.) But since the CD store is letting us hold a Listening Party there, I had them order 10 more copies. Probably all regular editions, but I'm not sure.

This is kind of wierd.  Was just at Best Buy to pick up the new Bloodhound Gang CD.  Didn't see one copy of Dark Light. ???  Guess they didn't get the shipment yet.

well i've just decided that i'm going over there and if the LE is there i will get it, and if it isn't i'll just get the regular copy.  if the gods want me to have the LE than it will be there for me to get, but my dvd/video game collection will be a little lighter

Target does not carry the LE. In fact, no stores in Texas even got the standard edition. Late shipments I guess.

Something that's interesting about the normal edition, the cover is slightly different than the one floating around online. The words "Dark Light" are lightly shaded on the building, and the text on the back cover is slightly different. Hmmm.
