i've heard it and it still hasnt changed my reason on buying the album. september 27th im goin down to the cd shop to get that sucker and totally ware it out in my cd player.

I think the lyrics are great...but sometimes I think they could be better.

Like in Face of God one of the first lines is "To be engraved on the stone of my grave" That doesn't sound right...he should have changed engraved to carved or something like that.

DSBH was good, just a little too mellow for my taste. I do admit, Love You Like I Do is one of my favorite songs, though.

I love DSBH and I love Dark Light. To me, HIM is not defined by the guitars and such, that's just an aspect. This is just another side of HIM that I love too.

I haven't but they said they'd send them out when they send the albums out. And the albums are supposed to be on our doors on the 27th, so the e-mails will probably go out mid- to late-week this week.

yeah same with me for any band, i dont judge them by guitars or specific intsrument just the music in general. Dont get me wrong if something sounds like total shit then yeah i wont like it

Agreed. I have a very varied musical collection. The only thing I can't get into his hip hop and country.

Because the vocals are more prominent on this album then previous ones, the lyrics just stand out more. It seems that a lot of these lyrics are just getting kinda cheesy or emo-esk. I'm liking KL and BTCD, but over all i'm feeling pretty, "eh, I'll listen to it, but I wouldn't play it over and over again" like I've done with RR and LM. It just seems like they have changed a lot since, well even ALSN.

And you are totally right about his accent. Because he has lost so much of it, words are coming out harsher making them more noticable and less melodic.

Maybe this is wrong for me to think but the whole album either sounds boring or like pop rock and I just dont like it. I cant relate to any of the lyrics and the whole album just sounds so diffrent than other albums which is good but I miss that comfort of knowing what I should expect. Again I'm probably wrong to think all this but it's what I feel. I'd give the album 7/10.
