I've picked up the Cleopatra releases of Wasting The Dawn, Blessed Be and Paris Kills at Best Buy.
All 3 had at least 2 bonus tracks.

Bender, you're my hero

On another note I picked up some of the rereleases lastnight and OMG Savage Garden's insert is so amazing to look at, mainly because Jussi looks nothing like he does now. He's straight out of the 80s in those pictures. Also, as usual Timo-Timo has a diffrent look for every album and for SG he had long and skinny braided dreadlock things.

I don't know if anyone else knows this, but if you put the Perfect Skin single in your computer, you can run this program called "Open Disc". It directs you to a site that has video introductions of each song on Angels by Jyrki69. You get to hear small clips of each song, similar to when those 30 second clips of Dark Light came online before the album came out. It sounds pretty good. Also, on amazon.com it lists 'Wrap Your Troubles in Dreams' as a "US exclusive bonus track" for the u.s. version of the album.

Yeah, cool feature.  Ghost with Apocalyptica sounds good.

I wonder why Wrap Your Troubles In Dreams?  And Daedalus, you have the US Wasting The Dawn, is there any info about those 3 remixes?  I don't think I've heard those before.

The three remixes are Lay Down Your Arms, Wasting The Dawn, and Next Stop Paradise. According to the booklet, they were done in 2003 by T.T. Oksala. They all sound pretty much the same as the originals, however on WTD, it sounds like Ville's backing vocals are louder, and you can distinctly hear him through most of the song.

Thanks Daedalus, might have to re-buy that one.

At least they're being released with bonus tracks over here, everyone needs to hear their B-sides like Heaven/Hell.  It's my most played song in iTunes. 8)

All the US releases of the albums dating before Devils have bonus tracks "exculsive" to the US. Those bonus tracks are just b-sides and remixes from singles. Once Devils is rereleased, it too will have Pitchblack and From Dusk Til Dawn

Yeah, but it's just odd to include "Wrap your troubles..." on Angels. I mean, that song came out over 10 years ago!

Oh sorry i misread your first post, I'm dumb. Sorry

Well they are most likely redoing the song? like they did with Velvet Touch on Blessed Be? I think? Or they are putting it on there so people buy the older albums? maybe?

just my thoughts

I'm really pissed. I was going to go to the Dallas show next Thursday, but they just changed my schedule at work, and I have to work Noon till 8:30. Grrr. It's all because of this "new company direction", which means managers have to be in the store during the busiest hours. Bleh. So now I get to miss the 69 Eyes...:(

As already posted ...

The cover artwork for the new THE 69 EYES album, "Angels", has been posted online at this location. Due in Finland on March 5 via Virgin/EMI, the CD was produced by Hiili Hiilesmaa and Johnny Lee Michaels — the same team that was responsible for 2004's "Devils". The video for the album's first single, "Perfect Skin", was directed by Ralf Strathmann and was filmed in Hollywood in mid-October 2006. You can watch the clip here. The additional tracks on the single are live versions of "Devils", "Christina Death" and "I Just Want to Have Something to Do" (originally by THE RAMONES) recorded at Whisky a Go Go in Hollywood in March 2006.

"Angels" track listing:

01. Angels
02. Never Say Die
03. Rocker
04. Ghost
05. Perfect Skin
06. Wings & Hearts
07. Star Of Fate
08. Los Angeles
09. In My Name
10. Shadow Of Your Love
11. Frankenhooker

The limited edition of "Angels" will include a bonus DVD containing the "Perfect Skin" video, a five-song live set from Hollywood’s Whisky a Go-Go in 2006 and "On The Route 69", a short film based on Ville Juurikkala's photos.

As previously reported, Cleopatra Records is releasing THE 69 EYES' entire back catalogue in the U.S. "Framed In Blood - The Very Blessed Of…" compilation CD, the "Helsinki Vampires" live album and videos DVD, and the albums "Paris Kills" and "Blessed Be" are already out. More will follow during the year.
