Bringing in the big gun to help with touring to promote the new album?

Over the past couple of days I've listened to the band more than I have in I don't know how long and it was great.

I can feel another obsession phase possibly coming on, which kind of sucks because of the slower activity than usual here with the band now officially being no more and thus not a whole lot to really talk about.

I think that's going to be the biggest change for me, honestly.

Having been active on various HIM message boards since around early 2002 and this one since early 2005, moreso than not having a new album or a new tour to look forward to it's going to be getting used to having less and less people to talk to about the band that I still love discussing as more and more people lose interest and move on.

I just really wanna thank Jay for creating this place and continuing to to keep it up for us diehards.

I still check these boards multiple times a day and have done so for many years. Going without it would just be weird and kind of depressing, if I could be honest. Sounds kind of gay, I know, but it is what it is.

Awww *mush*

Yeah, I went through that obsessive phase the last weeks of December.  I even replaced my heartagram keychain that I had lost a year before because now I felt I had to have it again.

It hit me about 7:30 on NYE we didn’t go down to Tavastia until 11:30 and I was just listening to HIM through my headphones as I went down for a few cigarettes outside the hotel between then and when we went down and seeing fans heading there for the final time every time I went down was saddening. But didn’t really hit me until we were sitting in the airport waiting for the flight home on the 2nd of January, wondering whether I would ever go to Helsinki again or maybe my reason for going had ended.

That Gas and Linde picture is from a new band called Flat Earth. They're on Instagram.

https://www.instagram.com/p/BfDTGkXjoYu/

Seems like they might be in the process of, or almost finished with, recording at least an EP with Hiili at Finnvox.

Linde also has a personal Instagram now. Username lindelindstrom.

Just reading back through all the old tour dates throughout the years and it seems the played here in Wales twice, once in 04 and again in 2013.

As a kid/teen I recall Love Metal and Dark Light being on Kerrang tv etc constantly, as well as in Kerrang mag, and there were loads of us who were into HIM as teens so I'm surprised they didn't come here those 2 tours since those albums were well known here.

I wasn't massively into them like I am now, at nearly 26. Sigh. I wish I could rewind time.

It's a long shot, but if anyone has boots or vid of either of the Cardiff shows, it'd really mean a lot. <3

They do have an album out already. It's called None for One (came out in November, I think) and it just came through one ear, fell straight out from the other and that was it. Not catchy, not gloomy, not anything really.
