You guys definitely have me curious what was so bad about the show. Was it just being there firsthand to witness what people have been saying about the band all tour long, or did something happen on top of that to make it an even worse gig than usual?

Sad to hear that the gig sucked. Exactly my thoughts after when I saw them at Miljoona Rock. Looking forward to your reviews too. I'm also curious about the reason what made the gig bad? Ville? Sound? Dumb people in the audience?

Ville and the boys aren't kids anymore and they've been touring for years. They can't be excellent during every gig and that's a sad fact. In my opinion Ville sings better nowadays than the drunken Ville era in 2004 for example. But he's just playing too much with screams (voice cracks) and low oooooh things.

I loved the gig the reason I didn’t enjoy the start is the crowd. As I mentioned earlier but would like to know why others didn’t enjoy.

Is anyone (who isn't attending) still looking forward to Helldone? Realistically, we can probably expect them to play everything that's been played on the tour so far (like Stigmata, Sleepwalking, Pretending, Razorblade Kiss, etc.) Maybe they'll bring back Resurrection as well since they'll probably do a couple of encores and there's no curfew to worry about, but more than likely it won't be the extravaganza I/we were hoping it would be.

For historical purposes, I hope we get at least one solid full recording - which I'm sure we will. I've actually been surprised at the audio quality of some of the videos I've seen from the tour on YouTube. For entertainment purposes, though, I just can't see them doing anything or playing anything I'd be interested in right now. Maybe further down the road I'll get an itch and I'll scratch it by listening to the show and reminisce about days gone by. The band has sounded their usual selves as of late, but it's still nothing I haven't heard a million times before, and done better, honestly. But I'm hoping still. Maybe they'll play an old cover or have a guest appearance that's worth checking out like they did that time with the dude from Cathedral. I'm not expecting anything, though.

I know there's a separate thread for ink, but since all eyes are on this thread these days, as well as this is also a farewell of sorts, felt it appropriate to post here.

Got this done after the final 3 shows in California. My gf and I both felt getting "branded" was the perfect way to cap off a week of bittersweet celebration.  She got a simple heartagram on her wrist. I had already jumped in 10 years ago with the BABL cover image.

i talked with the dude who records concerts in London, asked if he is gonna tape HIM this year (he taped quite few HIM london gigs in the past) and he said that unfortunately he is not gonna see and tape HIM in England
this year is very poor when it comes to bootlegs. Everyone just records, no one shares

Just take a random show from the past seven years and change the date and venue of it in the title. You'll never know the difference. Ok, maybe you would, but most other people wouldn't have a clue it's not from this year. It's probably for the best we're not reminded of this era of the band, anyway, although there seems to be plenty of videos on YouTube from what I could tell. Who's recording and not sharing, though? Shakes the CKY fan clown?

Yeah, maybe this era is worth forgetting. When the band was doing their first US tours in 2005-06 I bought LMA Vol 1, and noticed every album had a specific era which made it unique regardless of how good the album was. So, I figured the farewell tour would be an "era " but NO, it seems it's better forgotten. If I wanna hear the last HIM gig pro recorded, I just listen to the last vegas gig

still find it hard to believe that so little effort when into the "final tour" no rare songs, autograph sessions, or even Soundboard recordings. It was a huge bummer going to the two shows we went to and not seeing cameras in the venue or even interaction between the band and the fans. This specific tour, I noticed that I encountered a whole lot of rude fans, was it just me?

and it all started quite good in June - look at this setlist: https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/him/2017/la-riviera-madrid-spain-33e4a491.html

i would die to have this setlist in Prague, why they fucking screwed up so badly??? What was wrong with this setlist???? What? I do they really think that people are interested in 8:50 minutes long WICKED GAME???????
This is how long was it in Prague... what was the point??? They could play normal version + Resurrection + a little talking......
this Farewell tour is just a fiasco

it only makes sense to do that in LA because there's no smoking in buildings [although, i have no clue what the laws are in other states]  but if it wasn't gona be during WG it was gonna be during KOD which is equally as bad! I felt like they could've chosen a much better outro song, RY is a damn cliche.
