They stopped and left the stage before soul on fire, some issue with the equipment, then another short pause someone fighting again, then during rebel yell I'm guessing it was the guy that started stuff before ended up over the railing and took a bunch of security guards to take out, definitely an interesting night

Per HIM Norway and you, clearly the East Coast was mid/late '00s energy. I'll certainly take the chill, watch and enjoy that we had in the west. #GettingTooOld

Looking back over setlists from the first US tour. 2004 seems like it was a century ago, yet just a few years at the same time. I remember everyone's excitement about the setlists because of Ville's comment about how the US audience only knows Razorblade Romance. Playing the entire album or at least most of the album seemed like a real possibility since he seemed worried about doing songs the crowds weren't familiar with. Of course that never happened, and we were all much more familiar with their work than they thought; much to their surprise and delight, I'm sure. I forgot just how short the shows were, though. Eighteen Visions wasn't my thing, but I really enjoyed Kill Hannah. I became a fan of them before the show even. Speaking of opening acts, later on I loved Auf Der Maur, and Monster Magnet was cool with their lead singer throwing cigarettes into the crowd and playing porno clips on the screen behind them.

Read on the CKY reddit that this last show was kind of a shit show. There was apparently some sort of trouble with letting people in or a miscommunication between the ballroom crew about set times. CKY started before a decent portion of the audience was even inside the venue, so a lot of people either missed their set completely or most of it; some of those people coming for CKY instead of HIM, so that sucks. They had some sound issues as well, having to finish their set down at least one guitar. Sounds like it was a hell of a night.

dont stone me guys, i was kinda pissed that they did not even bother to play anything special or at least different order of the songs in the setlist in St. Petersburg #1 night, was watching and listening to 2017 live version of Resurrection and decoided to make a little compilation - multicam of it. All the vids are ripped from the youtube , only one was original sourced, audio is a mashup of Tuska performance from two youtube sources edited by me to sound better together.
As videos are mostly edited on youtube by uploaders, bastardized by youtube and then ripped by me, the final result has video resolution glitches sometimes, i bet with original videos i would not face these problems with editing. Well youtube grabs 1000 GB video with 25MBPS bitrate and bastardize it to 1024 kbps stream of 250 MB size , yeah the result i made really sucks but what else do we have from the farewell tour? Few bootlegs from GODS - you guys are my heroes! And nothing from the band, no stream, no webcast, no proshot video, nothing.

So check this and feel free to share it anywhere https://youtu.be/yenYGpAvZJE
in case i manage to compile a good sources of Stigmata with good audio i will do the video of Stigmata too!

I finally got around to watching the Sleepwalking into Rebel Yell transition. It was kinda cool, but man, poor Kosmo. Everyone else stops for a dramatic pause I guess (it would've been better if they just went right into it) and he keeps going until he finally realizes what's happening. He had a similar mishap in a video of Wicked Game during the jam they always do from one of the other shows. I can't remember which one it was. I mean, all things considered I think he's done a fantastic job taking over for Gas, but I feel kinda bad for him like he's treated as an outsider and they haven't really given him the time to rehearse with everyone and really start to gel together as a group. I can just picture them at rehearsal barely going over the songs because no one else needs to, and then ignoring him while everyone else talks and hangs out instead of practicing, leaving him to try and figure out things on his own and on the fly live. Forget Ville, I'm more interested in a Kosmo interview.

Those extempore type of transitions are hard for Kosmo, because he is playing with a click track so it's hard to suddenly change the tempo.

I think Kosmo has been the perfect fit for the band. I met him in 2015 and he was super chilled, didn’t say much but Linde did say in an interview he is super quiet. After Gas left I didn’t think anyone could replace him. Most of the HIM stuff on drums is super easy if you’re a technical drummer which Kosmo is.

They might not have set up an actual click TRACK in Pro Tools or something. Someone just controls those BPM's. Gas also played with a click at least from 2003 onwards. They have had BPM's in setlists too.

Is that why Ville always turned to Gas and made sure he knew what song was next and asked him if he was ready?
