I didn’t see what the big deal was about it until I heard it live as darksecret666 said it really is epic.

Watching a video from last night with the rebel yell transition = beyond epic, ville does say something about it being epic on the Toronto live version I believe
Today tomorrow seems so far away and the wait in vain

I don't even know what my face looked like when I watched it... Ville singing the Rebel Yell thing in the end of Sleepwalking in that "bluesy" way worked out well. And yeah he says that in the Toronto version. Maybe someday the English dictionaries will have the meaning "Sleepwalking Past Hope" under the word "epic" :P

I read that they're charging 40 bucks for a shirt and 70 for a hoodie this tour. Am I the only one that finds that just ridiculous? They're pricing the average fan like myself right out of the market. You have to save up money for a concert nowadays like you're going on a Disney vacation. On top of tickets, transportation, food, lodging in some cases, ect, how do they expect us to drop an additional $40 on a t-shirt or an additional $30 for longer sleeves and hood? I feel bad for the guys in CKY because they're being forced to price match. I guess HIM is worried about someone having to choose between one or the other and losing out on a sale. At least they're giving away a copy of their new album and other free stuff to make up for it. That's a class act right there.

No WLADE? Setlist.fm says that Ville walked off stage upset with the sound crew. Seriously, there's always something wrong with the monitoring system. Ville just keeps looking at the sound guys while pointing his finger up to tell them to turn up the volume (volume in what?). Sometimes Mige does it too. Also Ville's doing something with the wireless mic thing in his pocket. The sound guys are pros, but how hard can it be to fix a simple thing? Also Ville is sometimes mixed too down. If you watch videos from the Van Buren and HOB Anaheim gigs, you can't hear Ville too well. Both Wiltern are slightly better. If you watch this BABL video from last night in SLC, you can't hear shit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MefGGfEm2pE And look at Ville, pointing up and also down. This video from RHIMA, you can hear him better: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SWbrYF3zUiY Are those sound guys mixing up the ear monitoring volume channels with the actual monitoring ones? Maybe playing Pacman using the volume sliders while eating pizza? Drives me nuts. Vittu.

went to both wiltern gigs, the first night was great but the vocals couldve been turned up a tad. Also noticed that burton's keys (piano) were specifically hooked up to a different part of the sound system, (maybe pre-recorded) nonetheless the show was a great farewell!

It's not a HIM show without Ville looking off stage and pointing up. It's one of his signature moves that I always enjoy watching. Seriously, though, why can't they ever get the levels right? The band has their own sound guys. They've probably been working with them for years. They soundcheck every night. I can understand malfunctions, but at this point all the problems should be ironed out and everything should run like clockwork. Sucks that the audience got a shorter encore because of it. If you can't hear what you need to hear in your monitor, though, it's difficult to perform. It does make Ville look like a diva, though. Remember the time he threw the microphone down pissed because the sound wasn't right, among countless other times where he was visably or audibly upset about the sound? I don't think Ville is the nice, loveable, romantic guy that a lot of people think he is or hope he is. Just take another short break if you have to, get the issue fixed, then come back out and finish like professionals. Maybe they had a curfew and there wasn't time for that.

Shame on whoever edited the Denver show setlist on setlist.fm. Quickly came on here to see the excitement about Beyond Redemption making a comeback only to find nothing. I figured it couldn't be true because it also has BABL listed twice, so whoever did that was obviously confused about what they were hearing.

Does anyone else think Ville suffers from some stage freight? Maybe he's mentioned it before, but without smoking and drinking on stage, he just seems uncomfortable or bored, and in my opinion it really meses with his singing. He has to have that towel with him just to have something in his hand that's not a cigarette or a beer. It's not a new thing, of course, just something I thought of while watching some videos of the recent performances that I never really thought of before.
