Though it seems like we care about HIM more than they do...

Completely agree

This whole tour really seemed like business as usual. I guess what Ville said in Metal Hammer was right, they all just stopped caring.

I wasn't expecting much from the final show, but I thought for sure they would do two encores. Either come back out and play Sleepwalking or do something like Razorblade Kiss and Pretending. Didn't they do two encores at least once during the tour, or am I just imagining things? Out of all the shows, you'd think the final one would be the one to do that with.

I was truly disappointed when out of all the places, they didn't play When Love And Death Embrace in Milan, since that is my favorite HIM song. Dunno if they only play as much as they are paid for or just as much as they feel like it. It happened a few times now on the last tour that they played just Rebel Yell without WLADE.

Video of WLADE, and Ville's quick thank you, wave and run off stage.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d_pZLAzFc78

Wow. He ran off stage before the song was even finished. Couldn?t stick around another 45 Seconds to take a final bow with his band? Don’t know if that pisses anyone else off like it does me.

Though it seems like we care about HIM more than they do...

I thought they would do more encores, not stick to the same set list as the tour. It was THE final show, a last bow, a group hug? It was sad to see it end this way.

Ville has never been one to show his emotions in public (other than the songs) dont you guys think maybe he ran off because he was getting upset. The backstage pics show him teary, I just dont think he wanted to make a big thing out of it for his own sake.

This is how I feel as well.

I think that's why we didn't witness anything different or special happen really at any of the shows because Ville decided to treat it just like any other normal tour and not make a spectacle out of it and add any unnecessary emotions to it that he was uncomfortable with.

While I certainly wish the tour and final show had gone differently from a few different standpoints, I can see things and understand them from Ville's point of view. HIM was his baby. What we might see as not caring might very well be him caring too much and wanting to keep his emotions in check. Everyone has a different way of dealing with stuff. For him it might have been going about things with the mindset of business as usual, as we like to say on here - including running off stage early and not being there with the rest of the band as they said their goodbyes after the show, among other things.

Still, and maybe this is selfish of me, but I feel like more could've been done for the fans to make sure we felt their appreciation for all of the support we've given them over the years. While I know on the inside that they are grateful for us, because of how Ville decided to handle things (if my theory is indeed true) not enough was shown on the outside for us to truly feel content with.

Had that picture of him hugging Mige after the show not come out, I probably wouldn't have felt this way, but that picture got to me.

In that sense, I do agree with that theory.  Remember that Ville, Mige and Linde have been friends forever.  And we don't know of their plans for the future, so they could very well be coming out with another project together.  It's hard to tell, because they don't tell us shit.  :P

Maybe if they had told us more about they "why's" and plans for the future, we'd feel a little better.

In a way im glade they didnt make a big deal out of it because it doesnt feel like they are truly finished for me. HIM will always remain my number 1 band. I think Ville was probably feeling alot more emotional than we saw or he let on, he has just always been one of those kind of blokes that turns a serious question in an interview Into a joke, He seems very private and I dont blame him, we can love the music but we dont need the in’s and out’s of his personal life as they are his and only his, he is human like the rest of us afterall.

He definitely seemed to get emotional during WLADE on the 27th then the following night they didn’t even play it and played Razorblade Kiss instead so I guess he doesn’t want to get too upset infront of everyone.

That's an excellent version of the song. I've never been a big fan of WLADE in any capacity, but I'm saving that performance. For once the “lock onto Ville” camera angle pays off.

Yes WLADE was great :) Most of the audience were holding their phones with flashlights on during the song. It looked beautiful especially on the seat rows above.
