The reason why I say this is because I remember back in the day he didn't used to do this and he would drink a crazy amount of beer

I wonder what happens when he goes to the restroom during the bass solo and guitar Jam and he doesn't have to go to the restroom

it would be interesting if they saw this and decided to play this top 20 as the final setlist in Tavastia, i know its only 20 songs, but some are long ones so it could be interesting
take a look at the results of "best HIM songs"... http://teamrock.com/feature/2017-12-01/the-20-best-him-songs-of-all-time-as-voted-for-by-you

after all, it looks like all fans love these singles and not other album songs
i am quite surprised that Pretending didnt make it to the final top 20, i wouldnt guess that fans like all these overplayed shits so much

Long time no see, gang!  8)

Just wanted to say hey to my old fam and let you all know I'm going to the final gig in London tonight. I'm afraid I won't be recording as my plan is to drink a lot of whisky and shake my butt to some love metal, but it looks like dan24591 will be recording the show for you all.

Peace and love!

Squeeze in a couple of more Rarities and you got yourself a hell of a setlist personally I'd love to hear one last time live or too happy to be alive

First time logging in here I?m a very very long time and last night was first him concert in 15 years (roundhouse, London). We?re some good bits, stigmata and rebel yell were great, but was a really weird feeling gig. I kind of got the feel that ville wasn?t especially happy with the whole thing. Certainly didn?t feel like a farewell!  :-\

I heard he wasn't himself at the last show at the roundhouse. He's probably going through the emotions of everything. At least they get a wee break before they bury HIM forever  :'(

He's probably just ready for a break from the constant travel and touring lifestyle more than anything.

Cry tears of joy maybe. Seriously, though, I honestly don't think anyone in the band is going to be too upset for it to end. Somewhat, sure, because it's been a major part of their lives for so long except for my boy Seinfeld, but I think they're ready to move onto the next stage in their lives. If anything, they might be relieved to not be bound by anything anymore and be able to do whatever their hearts desire from now on. It's like being locked in a room for years and then finally going outside to breathe in the fresh air. They might very well be happier than they've been in a long time during that show or at least afterwards. I mean, we've already had an interview with Ville where he finally admitted that they got together to rehearse and no one was into it. And as we all have witnessed on this tour, it's apparent during their shows. I don't think there will be any weeping except for the fans in the crowd. I hope we get some good videos of people sobbing and consoling one another while Ville walks off stage never to be seen again except for every now and again at the organic market in Helsinki. I wish the best of luck to the other guys and hope they saved and invested their money well because without their meal ticket they're going to have a hard time making money making music, if that's what they try to do afterwards. I'll continue to support them if I like what they're doing, I won't just blindly buy shitty music because of who they are (*coughgas'newbandcough*) but it's going to be an uphill battle for them.

Prostatitis

Prostatitis is no joke. It's difficult to sit through a concert just watching, without drinking anything, let alone participating and drinking the whole time.

Oh, good lord no, I wasn't implying you were making a joke. It's a turn of phrase to mean that it's a potentially serious concern.

I'm honored man  ;)

Show was fucking awesome. Hadn't heard In Joy and Sorrow or Stigmata Diaboli live in my eight times seeing them, so that was a nice treat. Pretty standard setlist with a Rebel Yell -> WLADE encore. Not embarrassed to say I cried a little bit as the last chord rung out! I thought Ville's voice sounded pretty good, and I have a few clips of him laughing and smiling with the front row. Didn't get the vibe he wasn't having a good time, but maybe that was because I was having the BEST time.  ;D

Glad you had a great time.  Very intersting how we are all getting different things out of this tour.

And don't worry, I cried a bit for the first 4 or 5 songs on my third and final show of this tour. Alot of feels start bubbling up when you realize this is the end.

Ville said in a recent Finnish interview that the mood has been relaxed during the tour, unlike most of the tours. He also said that of course there is a special feeling when you know that it's the last time and the guys don't have to be smelling each other no more after 2017 xD

Here is the article if someone wants to try Google Translate: https://www.hs.fi/kulttuuri/art-2000005496946.html

I think Ville's sounded pretty good during the tour.

'Tried to' because it didn't turn out really well but whatever xD

I uploaded it >>here<< but like. Idk if you want to claim that you have every gig without lying go ahead. But if you want to actually listen to it... don't bother I guess? Idk
Will you dance to this beat and hold a lover close

To be perfectly honest, if a reunion ever did happen (I'm of the opinion that it won't) by the time that it did I don't think there would be enough people still left that cared enough about it to sell out the shows. For a large portion of the audience, I think they're going to be one of those forgotten acts who they're reminded of years down the road somehow, and they say to themselves “I remember this band” but it won't be enough motivation for them to buy tickets. At that point they will have already moved on to some other band or other interest.

I feel like reunions usually happen years after a fallout of some kind. A way to finish where they left off sort of thing.   HIM doesn't fit that. If their hearts were still in it, but just tired, they'd go on hiatus instead. I also feel like Finns are less gimmicky in regards to "we broke up. now we're back."  I'm sure we'll see Ville show up at a Daniel Lioneye gig and maybe do a HIM song or something. But not a reunion.

-thoughts by the guy that just got a HIM 1991-2017 tattoo and DOESN'T want them to get back together for that very reason.
