im bitter that we didn't get an official album for that, the whole show just seemed so relaxed and organic

Take Mige's signature monster of a fat and dirty bass tone and put it up front in the mix where you can not only hear it but it's actually prominent throughout each song, and there you pretty much have the Semifinal 2003 raw and gritty sound that we all know and love about this show and a lot of their demos. That's really all there is to it that's different about that show as compared to others in 2003 from before and after it from a technical standpoint, that is. Crazy how just a little tweak like that can do so much.
