no one said its going to be the BIG news or something spectacular..... "some cool news" is definitely (after today) not a big news

and you have seen it in the video - just look at the text, tags and watch it, its just a promo of the Knowing Me, Knowing You. Nothing to do with HIM whatsoever.
We all expected something, we got nothing. Announcing Abba cover song and the date when the single will be available is not a news as it was well known few weeks before. But it succeeded - we all listened as sheeps so they had views and visitors and listeners. Ville is getting some coin from the Abba cover as well so its in his onw interest that the more people will know, more people will buy the single / album and more coins for Ville and of course the main reason is to help his friend MGT, his great friend who Ville never said a single word about before.

I am telling you guys, dont get your hopes high, this is Ville Valo, i thought you already knew him , right?

Remember our expectations with every new tour´s setlist? Or tracklist of Deluxe Reissues ? Or Rambo Rimbaud which was supposed to be released in 2015? Or whatever really?
I meant that seriously, the new HIM album wont be out sooner than summer 2017........... And i am too "soon" with that, remember how long it took to finish Tears On Tape? We waited until the end of April 2013, they recorded it in summer 2012.... Now Daniel Lioneye is working on the new album - it is already taking too long for Linde, and it wont be out soon anyway, then some tour to promote it - that means no HIM album recording, demoing, rehearsing.... This all means that maybe Ville is figuring some ideas together, building some song skeletons, writing some lyrics and ideas. They need to make the songs first (remember they are lazy, older and they take so long) then they need to make demos, then figuring how to improve them, then rehearsing them, then recording million versions, then deciding the final version, then recording the final version , then mastering it, mixing it, post production - and its HIM so ...... dont get your hopes high guys

So, Jussi posted on FB that Ville will be his guest through the whole show for the upcoming specials in April. At least something, still better than pointless 2 minutes clip.
Hope we will hear something new and not the same old HIM shit Ville talks about in every interview

Comes out on April 22nd. I could've swore it was the 4th. Anyways, it's called Universal Monsters. First single was called Jet Fighter Plane. You can find it on YouTube. Second is going to be Dolce Vita. The music video for that is supposed to come out next week.

I was worried for a second that I'd missed Ville on Jussi's show last Friday but then I looked it up and wanted to post here in case anyone else is wondering as well...the next two shows with Ville on will be 4/22 and 4/29 at 7PM Finnish time (which is 11AM for me).

I added this info to the first post of this thread too so it will show on the homepage
