You're sure about that? For me, making remix with quality like that would be just stupid. And listen to the part "Save your happiness for tomorrow" or "Because I love you so". I think that editing vocals like that is impossible - they can make it quicker, slower, or something, but it sounds like Ville sang it different.

They used alternate vocals for some of it, yes. Some of which may have been earlier takes than was used in the album version. They did the same for the Pretending Cosmic Pope Jam version, and the Salt In Our Wounds Thulsa Doom version, amoung others.
The sound of the song was done on purpose, and has something to do with the title, "Tandeberg B74". Tandberg was a big audio equipment maker in Europe, especially with tape decks.

She actually mostly scanned pictures and put her name onto them.
There's hundreds she didn't photograph personally, but since she scanned them, that's how her name is still on a lot.

oh okay, thanks for clearing that up. The girl at LJ was being a little bitchy and made me thoroughly confused. My understanding had always been that she took pictures, which from what the mod at LJ said is somewhat true, and she scanned whatever else. now i can go on with my day.

The Dark Light promo sounds the same as the album. There may be minor, minor differences in the mix, but nothing noticeable.

Any media requests need to be in the media sharing threads. You've only got a handful of posts to go till you can get there. But in the meantime, look on youtube. There are tons of live Pretending videos. Not sure about Ruisrock 2005 though.

Personally, I have no remembrance of Pretending being played at that particular gig. So if it wasn't for the tracklisting, I would assume they didn't play it. I could be wrong, though.
