It might not be a HIM song but it could be a HiM song.

Did Overdream ever do an actual cover of a HIM song or are they just inspired by HIM?

What would you pay more for?

The actual Lepakko and Tapanila demo tapes
or
A sealed 666wtl in mint condition?

1. Don't Fear The Reaper is not a HIM song. It's a Blue Oyster Cult song.

2. This isn't by Overdream, it's by Gus. The song was a B-side for the Scream 3 (I think) soundtrack.

I know, but it's not a HIM cover, it's a Blue Oyster Cult cover. Gus has nothing to do with HIM.

Ok yeh i see where youre coming from youre right. HIM didnt write it so you cant say that Gus covered the HIM song DFTR when really it was Blue Oyster Cult that he covered. *that made sence to me anyway*

Well if you ask me, it kinda depends. Like, I'd say Solitary Man is more of a Johnny Cash cover than a Neil Diamond cover in HIM's case. But it's unlikely that Gus were inspired by HIM when doing that song which definitely makes it a Blue Öyster Cult cover...

It was the first Scream movie which was released in 1996 so he wouldn't have heard HIM's version., and the guys full name is Gus Black.

that's common in a lot of Johnny Cash's songs, it'shis distinguished rustic style

if you put the background music for Cash's with Neil's vocals you would have the perfect song. But if I had to pick, i would put Cash's over Neil's.

Are you asking me or are you just quoting my comment to start a conversation? I have heard Johnny Cash's version, yes. And I enjoy it. But I think I'm with Laura on this one - Cash's background music and Neil's vocals would make a great combination.

San Francisco is likely to be the first date, Seppo wont say what the date is. Umm, the tour is scheduled to start some time really close to october, maybe a late september early october start. It will most likely start on the west coast and work west. They are planning a full tour, with many stops in mid-west states, "we ar going to try and reach as many HIM fans this tour as possible," said Seppo. Ummm let's see, It is supposed to go through November, around 2 months in length.
