yo :)
yea lol and few others like 'hear the silence sigh it's song' in All Lips Go Blue or 'being coldblooded' in Hearts At War :p would be good if anyone would check them with ones already used here while listening to songs and make corrections so we all would have something to be proud of since no one else on the whole web haven't done as much work to make fans happy :p

and tbh i posted this here for myself to have good lyrics as well lol

Most of those parts you speak of were what I thought to be the lyrics initially but later found otherwise.

This clearly shows him saying "love" where you think it's "coldblooded"... Notice how his lips come together to make the "v" sound.

He makes the "t" sound of the word "silent" very pronounced in this video.

Daedalus posted scans from the Japanese version of Tears on Tape, which had the lyrics in the booklet.  We were all pretty close for the most part.

well.... im not convinced at all to these 'japan lyrics'.. i am musician, and graphics designer... so first, as a designer and as i know HIM since 1997 when my uncle sent me 666 ways to love on xmas from finland, i know how they make their booklets and this not only don't look like HIM cd book, but don't look like cd book at all, if you look close you'll see that proportions are incorrect, and Ville NEVER would approve to write his lyrics like that anywhere official.. as music and all he creates is very personal to him, tho they sound good, even that 'words tickle' thing if you listening very closely.. only 'dream of one' is not what i'm hearing as there is certainly 'rm' at the end of the word, and sounds like 'warm'.. but from designer side i'd say it is amateur work, and not that good at all.. professional would never make things like some things i see there, also paper isn't a shiny, slippy paper we all know from HIM cd's (well VD has matte paper but at least thick and not clean white..), instead it looks like a common printing paper that you can buy in any store... and where are all the malachim symbols ? and all graphics from Tears On Tape ? it looks very raw for me, and where are all heartagrams, copyrights and all shit that usually is on that kind of thing ? and finally where is the cover art ? and since when HIM numbering pages ?? and sorry for complaining but i am very skeptic (as Finns are skeptical in nature), and i need solid proof to believe, and however true they might look i say that suggestion can do everything, if they'd give lyrics with 'my dick burning high' as official, thah would be what you would hear listening to it... and one question is he owning this thing or is it from some other site ?

and i'm not saying it's bad fake and throw it away.. no, i just want some proof that is real and not some clever hoax.
and i'm also not saying that mine are better, cuz idk for sure, i only know what i hear, and i am human and i make mistakes.

cheers
Ville

You need to chill. And learn what Japanese Cd booklets look like :)
This is a portion of the lyrics booklet, separate from the standard TOT booklet. Many, many Japanese CDs include black and white lyrics booklets. And yes, I scanned these myself.

Yeah the Japan version is an official release. I'm not sure as to why there were lyrics printed in that version as opposed to others, but Daedalus is highly credible and he did scan these himself.

Welcome to the board though. Everyone is free to have a voice.

well then cool ;) i live in europe and don't know much about asian things :p and i don't want argue about that lol just i wonder now why there is 'one' when in song i hear certainly 'warm' and why there is 'silence sighs' when i listen 1000 times and heard 'silence sighed' at the end of All Lips, so maybe little typo or someone made good work making nice set himself there in japan, afaik japanese ppl like to do all things in their way ;)

and ty for reply :)

It does make you wonder where the Japanese got the lyrics from. I mean, Ville left them out on purpose... Why make an exception with the Japanese? I'll take these lyrics with a grain of salt even though at this point it doesn't really matter to me anymore cause we have a pretty good understanding of the lyrics... all these subtle changes don't do much for me. Once some people get off their ass and flip the switch on heartagram.com they should (hopefully) have the lyrics there... Those will be the lyrics I will go by and if it turns out the Japs were right then cool.

i only have HIM japanese releases and they use to add the lyrics booklet (even the love metal dvd have it), always in same way, black&white simple booklet with the lyrics and the reason they do: their translation to japanese
Dark light for example also have one greetings and signature from Ville-san in black an white

LOL "Ville-san"

I can't say I'm as versed in Japanese things as others, except for scat porn, but that's a different story.  *Cough*

But the lyrics we had all worked on were pretty close to what's printed on the Japanese book.  One exception was the bit in Into The Night, (We're engulfed in fire) makes total sense, but we couldn't make it out, and then of course that weird "words tickle" line in WLSTD.

The only thing aggressive around here is our sex.  We like it rough.
