Hey guys, I live two blocks from the attack. I was walking back from this morning's Red Sox game at Fenway when my girlfriend and I heard the explosions from only 3 blocks aways. We didn't know what it was at first, but we saw people running and screaming/crying. We didn't panic at the time and lightly jogged back to my apartment. When we got upstairs and turned on the TV, we couldn't believe what had happened. That is MY neighborhood! My T stop, my Bank of America, my CVS, all on that street! Thankfully, I am safe as is my brother who was at the marathon, and all my friends who were there as well. But this is all too real for me.

My gf can't stop crying. It is just really scary here in the city. Do me a favor and pray for the victims of this horrible attack. I have to call family and friends to let them know I am safe.

Just an update for you:

All of my friends and family living in and around the city are safe. I feel so grateful that I nor anyone I knew was hurt, but I still feel awful and pray for the families of the victims who weren't as fortunate. I just hope we find the motherfuckers that did this and throw them out in to South Boston for some fucking street justice.

In the mean time, please pray for my city which I love, and for the people here whom I love even more.

I can't help but think there is more to the story than what they're telling us. There's no excuse for killing innocent people, but you gotta stop and think about the things that would drive a person to do something like this. What would you do if your family's lives were threatened? The 2 guys may have been the instrument to the crime, but who's pulling the strings and why?

Depends on who you listen to and believe. Ask Alex Jones and you'll get a completely different take on just about everything.

Anonymous has been a great source of coverage.

Social media has been way faster than mainstream news (as usual). Mainstream media was "breaking" news that the guys were brothers, hours after that was well known.
