I feel they could create a heavier sound but still maintain the intementcy..(cant spell)

I would have thought "Fairys wear boots" by Black Sabbath would have work or some Led Zeppelin on the go

MM's version sucks. if only HIM wouldve gotten to it before he did, then you have to admit, it wouldve been an awesome cover. i think even better than soft cell's version.

well yeah, soft cell's version is amazing, especially the extended version but i still think that HIM's would be better. only because there would be so much more added to it. the 80's was very "electronical" so to speak so i get what youre saying about a different era.

Just thinking of songs that HIM could reinvent by covering them.  I would like a cd of covers by the band with new songs never before covered by them.  Some I'm thinking of are:
November Rain or Dont Cry-Guns N Roses
Sometimes When We Touch- Dan HIll
Mr. Crowley-Ozzy Osbourne
I Will Always Love You-Dolly Parton/Whitney Houston

Are you crazy? They'd never cover those. We all know the only things that HIM have covered have been teeny bop songs by artists like Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera.

I would love to hear HIM do "I Was Made for Loving You" by KISS, I think that would be really great!

Maybe som more Billy Idol? "White Wedding"?

AND! I would really like to hear a studio recording of "Enjoy the Silence".

Id pretty much enjoy seeing studio versions of the random songs they've covered live. Rebel Yell, I Just died in your arms tonight, Enjoy the silence, or any others as well. Also someone else mentioned "I was made for lovin you" I think that would sound pretty awesome if they did it :)
