Thanks to Inferno for the Tears on Tape theme banner!

As you can see, the forum front page is a little different. With the upgrade, we have access to many more mods that will allow us to do some cool things here. The forum index is still available there in the top menu.

First, the custom album themes are functional again. If you look to the left, you'll see the area where you can choose your theme quickly.

Second, we have a ShoutBox active now. I'm working on getting it to function like a regular chat room soon.

Some profile changes are available. You now have the option of adding your Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, Youtube, DevianArt, and Pinterest member profiles. (Even MySpace, if you still use that shit). I'm going to continue looking for ways to integrate this forum with more social media.

Alright, so the upgrade is done, but it seems as though the custom themes we were using aren't going to work with this new version. It's okay, as this new SMF is way more customizable and there are a lot more modifications available.

Seems like I have a project to work on now, so bear (bare?) with me this weekend.

Alright, I gotta get cleaned up...this will have to do for now. This was the base for the custom themes I had, so it'll be quick and easy to reset. But if I don't make it to this birthday party in time, there will be a curly haired girl that is going to kill me.

btw after quite long time we had some spambot or other scum here, i hope this new version is well protected

I am going to have to reinstall a lot of the spam protection again. The old versions don't work on the new forum. The themes will also be reinstalled.

Also if you're on a phone, just add in ?wap2 on the back of the URL and you'll get a mobile version of the forum. Or click the wap link at the bottom of the full version.

It should be fixed now. I'm not sure what happened, but it has something to do with the language packs.

Yep after the upgrade the default lang went to Arabian or at least mine, but the forums was in English. Today everything went in Arabian, so I've changed and its seems then I stop seeing NEW icon... nevermind everything is cool now
