So I was snooping around the official HIM forum and saw a few people talking about a new Daniel Lioneye album. Someone even said that during a meet and greet in australia, they asked Linde and he said he's trying to get into the studio around April 2008. Has anyone heard this news or something like it?

if wasn't an official statement. just another member said

"It was awsome, I got to meet the guys before the show the 14th and they were so polite and kind. It was e meet and greet down in a bar at Nalen and Linde told me he was going to record Daniel Lioneyes second album in March/April <3"

this better be true! a new daniel lioneye album would be amazing...I so love linde's voice, it's truly amazing! and going on a small tour is a must

well, since the guys are all home right now, they probably will do as much of the new D.L. album as possible. plus with Bam heading there to film the xmas movie with the guys, i'm sure he'll have more info----cos bammy cannot keep a secret, no way, no how.

Gas plays with his other band "To Separate The Flesh From The bones" with members of Amorphis and others.

And well, Ville has colaborates with a long list of fellow musicians, so, maybe in a closer future we will have news about an another colaboration with someone

heartagram.com recently posted a news update about a recent interview with Linde and Ultimate-Guitar.com...
Linde talks about what he likes to ue in the studio, on tour, other little stuff...
and of course, the next daniel lioneye album
here are the important parts for this topic:

What is the status of your side-project Daniel Lioneye?

I'm actually about to do a second version of that band. It is going to be a black metal album this time round. I don't know yet whether I'll be doing the screaming or the growling but I'm definitely making it. We already have four songs ready to go now and once we get back home in early April, I'll start work on it. So hopefully it'll be out sometime later this year.

Will there be any possibility of live shows from Daniel Lioneye?

I don't know about it, as this time it is going to be a lot more technically demanding. The first album we recorded it in like five days. And Ville won't be doing the drums this time either. It is going to be one of my friends, a double bass black metal drummer. So it will depend on whether we're able to reproduce it live as to whether any shows happen.
