Just them?

Would have been real cool if it was the same line-up as last summer :D

I thought they didn't enjoy PR last year?

Ah well, any gigs are good.

I think it's more for the record company to promote them than them wanting to do the shows.

The weird thing is, though, that these shows take place in Germany where they don't really need this sort of promotion. Playing at PR in America made sense promotion-wise, this... not so much.

I'm not complaining, though, just wonderin'.

agree, and no matter how much i like to see HIM live.. festivals isn't really the best place.
I just hope they get to play when it's dark, cos didn't they decide to never play in daylight again?^^

I don't know if they said they'd never play in daylight again. The only thing I know is that Ville hates to play in daylight.

Ville did actually say that during an interview after PR was done. Can't remember which one, though. He said they made a deal within the band never to play in daylight again, and I believe he also said they told their booking agents (or whomever) not to book HIM for daylight gigs again. :P Although their policy might be more of a avoiding-them-as-much-as-possible rather than a definite no-no.

That doesn't make sense though, 'cause they still do things like Rock-AM-Ring and Rock-IM-Park and other festivals during the summer where they're taped in daylight.

I think this was probably said hastily.  The situation last year did seem to piss him off alot, but I am sure if the situation is right, they will play daylight shows.

Though saying that, all the festivals they are playing this summer look as though they have late headlining/top of the bill slots.  Maybe they are too big to play in daylight now :P.
