yea gls had alot of distortion. maybe if he had an extra guitar it would work. but think about it this way. your sweet 666,its all tears, wicked game all off gls. and the other songs weren't very popular. theres WLADE but do you really want to listen to that slow song? (not saying i dont like it)

as for dsbh. once in a blue moon they'll play something from that. remember-the band dislikes that album alot.
a)the record company forced them to change their sound. the best way to see what i mean is look at 'again' 'beautiful-3rd seal shot'. those songs rock! and thats what they wanted on the album
b)it was written during one of VV past relationships. brings back bad memories

Yeah,i like that they play those songs from GLS, but it would be cool to hear something else. even if their not that "popular". What about the heartless, For you or our diabolikal rapture. GREAT songs that works VERY good live. And they should really start to change the set list after ALL these years. I like seeing them live, but it gets pretty boring when each tour has the same set list. I`m happy i saw them live in 2004 when the set list was freaking awsome.

But i agree on the fact that they should play more DSABH songs, remember they played pretending at ruisrock in 2005 it was SO great heariing that one again. But i would also like to hear Lose you tonight, Please dont let it go. a  lot of those songs from that album is great live :)

The year 37 A.S

I though A.S stood for "Anno Satanas"(Since the formation of the Church of Satan, 1966=year I)
But 1966+37=2003  ???

EDIT
The albumart also says 37 AS
It has to be something in 1970

Black Sabbath's 'Paranoid' came out in 1970, just like 'Black Sabbath'

Wasn't the Stefan Lindfors films supposed to be on it as well? Or at least that's what it said in an Heartagram email months ago.

Did it? I only remember it saying they'd be available for the members of the fan club... I might be wrong, though, as I can't be bothered to dig through my emails to check.

That sounds about right. Seems like something HIM would come up with.

edit: I'm liking the cover. Classic with a modern twist. And very Poe.

I like that idea that XXXVII A.S.
stands for 37 Years after sabbath.
it's really clever, and I hope that's what it stands for!!

Since the numbers add up to 37, I would think the special year would be 1971 'cause the DVD will be released in 2008 not 2007.

It's still a cool concept.

But the concert is played in 2007

If a band releases tomorrow a live-album with a concert played in 2007, the album is called "live in 2007", not "live in 2008"

I like the Sabbath idea too :)

I've seen it on a number of sites with '13 A.H.'  I'm guessing they must have changed the title somewhere along the way, just curious what it may have meant. After HIM maybe? Any other thoughts?

AH is the Islamic calendar (anno Hegirae)
After HIM can't be correct, Gas is born in 1971 and he is the eldest

The cover is the blurry the see what it says

A.S, like I said: "Anno Sabbath" (In the year of Black sabbath)
A.H., I would say: "Anno Heavy Metal" (In the year of [the beginning of] Heavy metal)
Because the BS albums in 1970 had a great influence for Heavy metal

I like A.S more, because you can't doubt about a release year, but you can about the beginning of Heavy Metal

Next will be the exclusive fan club premiere of a set of short film collaborations between Ville and Stefan Lindfors, who directed the Funeral of Hearts video. These films will not be see by the public outside the fan club until the CD/DVD release in 2008! Don?t miss these unique films!

I won't be too disappointed if they're not included. I've seen them.   :-\

im gonna hold off on the flip book version.

Oh alright, my bad. Well, considering the fact that they spent money on making these films in the first place, you'd think they'd wanna eventually use them for more than just a treat for the fan club people... But as it says nothing about them being included on the DVD on their website maybe they changed their minds.

What's Gas got to do with it? :) IF at some point they meant to call it "13 A.H." as in "Anno HIM", then it could've been a reference to the year they started out.

The Sabbath thing is better, though, it's more fun and tongue-in-cheek. To me it looks like the cover art says  "37 A.S." in the picture posted earlier. Besides, a Satanic connotation versus an Islamic one? Hmm... wonder which one's more likely to appear on a HIM DVD. ;)

I was reffering to the post of Jacky. She said
Quote
After HIM maybe?
That's is why I posted Gas year of birth, 37 AH wasn't possible because in 1970 the oldest member wasn't even born.
AH is the Islamic calendar like AD is the christian one. And I know HIM won't use the Islamic calendar ;)

But now I see the problem, sorry I didn't notice it was 13 AH. I was still thinking about the 37 AH  ::) Thanks for clearing up Province
Nevermind, 37 Anno Sabbath would be great

is the flip book really worth $10 extra?

http://www.heartagram.com/store/featured/digital-versatile-doom-live-orpheum-theater-xxxvii-wflipbook

6" X 4" numbered flipbook. The imagery is from HIM's live performance of "Sleepwalking Past Hope" at the Orpheum Theater

doesnt sound worth it to me. they have a preview of what the flip book is. at the bottom,

its neat il give it that. but not really worth extra $10.
