HIM to do the next Bond Theme?

now theres rumors of a new Bond theme?
what have i been doing these past months!

Hmm, it's posted on a UK news website, so it might not be a rumor.

NME is not a news website it's a music magazine and it says in the article that "rumours are flying around"

i think HIM could release those song that is going to be remembered in soundtracks, the atmosphere of the what james bond movies means is awesome and HIM could fit great, with a soft ballad with a lot of keyboards

I'm on the same opinion, it's just a rumor. But i heard this information on the local radio here in Hungary a copule of days ago. I don't know...

That's quite interesting. The Bond songs are usually pretty cool, and usually kind of different style from the band doing them. I hope it is true. I imagine HIM could do a good Bond song.

A lot of celebrities say they aren't on drugs/getting married/etc. and a month later they are in rehab or engaged.. So you can't always believe what people say. ^{unless it's ville}

My first reaction is no. But on the other side, maybe they get a new group of fans, older fans, not under 14. And I guess that is what Ville wants. Paying all the young girls every gig again to scream... That costs a lot of money.




EDIT:

Love + Death + 616 + dark/night + a new poet/writer + great guitar riff + slowly a Bond theme in HIM style on keyboards = Bond 2008 theme

I guess it going to be like "killing for love, my darkest 616 side, like [insert poem] did, to be with you forever in the night, we will disappear in the dark to be not found again"


And don't forget the 7 hidden Heartagrams in the movie and a appearance of the whole band in the casino, in Wicked Game style.

haha goshers, I like the song you had going on there...ville should copy them lyrics for the theme if they'll do the theme for the movie and I agree it would be fun to see the 69 eyes doing the theme but I wonder if jyrki would be able to keep away from a line like "blablabla giving head" haha, I doubt the movie makers would like that part
