Black Candles
(Don't Fear) The Reaper
The Heartless
Warlock Moon
Highlands of Hamlock
Blood and Fear
is apparently the track listing, sounds like bullshit to me, Highlands of Hamlock, sounds like a cradle of filth song

Yeah, it sounds like "Medusa and Hemlock".
For my name is sorrow and I'm a friend of misery
I deprived myself of love for eternal agony
And I don't even dare to try - I know I can only lose
Between this life I live and nothing I have to choose

I think that the demo really exists, but it sounds like shit or something like that,
That's the reason why they don't want to release it

How come it was said that the only copy is with Ville Valo? How did people get hold of it?

I'd love to hear what HIM was like so many years ago.

For those who still don't know. Everyone can edit Wikipedia. If you believe Wikipedia about HIM: Ville killed himself, HIM has a lot of new members, is gay and a lot more.

About the possible tracklist:

Black Candles:
Why? Because Ville mentioned it (?)

Don't Fear the Reaper
Why? Because there is a demo of it. When GLV666 was too short, they wanted an extra on it, and they had a demo of DFTR

From Synnin Viemaa
Quote
...but of course HIM's record was a way too short. Then we remembered that Blue Oyster Cult's "(Don't Fear) The Reaper" was good in the band's first demo, even though it was never published. So we put it to the end of record. As it lasted 7 minutes we got the whole album's length to 40 minutes, what was enough.

The Heartless
Why? It's one of their first songs

Love's Requiem
Why? Ville mentoined it (?)

Maybe other 'known' songs also. Remember VD has some pretty 'old' ideas/songs too.

What is true about it?
-The title
-Recorded in Finland in 1992
-By Mige, bass
 Linde, guitar
 Ville, vocals, drum, bass
-It has 7 tracks
-It's a 8-track tape

None has it, only Ville. It rumour goes that it is on his laptop
Bam said he had/heard it

The only thing we know, is that know almost nothing about it ;)

Edit this post, if you know more
If you have quotes from interviews, post it, so we can clear it up.

It's possible the 1992 demo may also have earlier versions of Serpent Ride and Borellus seeing they're on the 1993 demo. Obviously this is just a theory, it depends how quickly they were writing songs and how many they had.

EDIT: Is the Leppakko tape from 93 or 95? If it's 95 then scrap what I just said!

Leppakko is where it was recorded...around '93.

the leppakko demo's are: serpent ride, borellus, the heartless...i think thats it.

and then they went back in 95 and did the other ones...: stigmata diaboli, the phantom gate, and wicked game.

actually....now that i remember...

This thread is a waste of time. Ville isn't going to release the demo - he has no motivation to. He doesn't seem too interested in money, so I doubt he'd be too keen about making money off of demos made by a bunch of drunken teenagers from Finland in the early 90s.

The best we can hope for (or fear for  ::)) would be that some of these older songs are redone on newer albums (Love's Requiem, Passion's Killing Floor, etc.)
