Seeing that Picture from Chitown, and knowing i was supposed to be there, with my people, you all, (whoever went to that show) makes me so sad.  because when i seen them in 2006 there, it was my first time seeing them and it was a really good show.  i got to get really close as well. Saddens me, but hopfully they come around again!!

I got the first one posted (with the tour dates) at the show I was at.  I think the nicest thing was seeing Ville perform out of a suit.  He just seemed to be really in his element and enjoying the show as much as the fans were.  It was a really good time and they put on an amazing show I felt.  Definitely worth waiting nearly 7 years for.  I was hoping to hear a few more oldies, but the new stuff sounds excellent live so I can't really complain.

Remember we talked about whether or not Bam was at the Chicago show? I had said I saw this look-a-like, wannabe and made fun of him to my friend... and then somebody else had said that he really was there. I just listened to the Rockline interview with Ville and he said that they missed the Viva La Bands tour in Chicago by one night and that he's hoping to meet up with Bam in LA after the tour. That leads me to believe he wasn't really there, because Ville would have mentioned it.

They've added Sleepwalking and Bleed Well. That's pretty much it.

Oh, and it's time for a roll call...who's going to the Dallas show on Tuesday?

Well, they are playing 5 of the 9 songs on VD. That's a good amount.

Plus they're clinging to It's All Tears, Wicked Game, and sometimes Sweet 666 which are old.  Mix in a lot of RR, Love Metal, and Dark Light stuff and it's a very good mix of old & new.

Just got back from the Dallas show. Well, I got back hours ago, but just got online. Anyways. Fantastic show, the guys were all at the top of their game. Ville played with the crowd quite a bit. They opened with It's All Tears, which was a shock to me. The playlist is the same as the rest of the tour, but the order was a bit different. After IAT they went into Bleed Well.
After Sleepwalking, Ville told a long rambling story about how the Pope recently said that limbo, or purgatory, doesn't exist. Apparently this pisses Ville off. After the next song, he proudly proclaimed, "Wait a minute, I'm not Catholic, so the pope can fuck off!" Funny, but odd.

Here's a clip of the ramble. Unfortuantly I didn't get the "the pope can fuck off" part.

5/9 is not so bad (I'd like more)
but
compared to all songs they are playing (5/17) they can play some VDsongs more.
