This is really fucking stupid. I'm fed up of Warner milking the fans for every last penny. It just seems to be one money making scheme after another >:(

Its business =\

Anybody else see a correlation between HIM's tour with Metallica and the new money milking schemes?

Maybe Lars sat down with our boys and made them a business plan...

Lars: (With stupid accent) "So yeah, Vial (Ville), Warners should make you guys a fan club, where you can charge a monthly fee.  It costs little to run, but it brings in truck loads of money.  That's what we, in the biz, like to call profit.  It's almost like the fans are buying an Ireland-only Ultra Deluxe Luxory feather bound edition of your new album Dark Doom, Venus Light, whatever you call it, every month!"

Sorry, that was stupid.  I'm bored.

The ultimate package is just a ticket before anyone else can get one, a CD, 1 month membership to the club, the ability to listen to the full album before it's released...nothing that huge.  Not worth it.

So listening to Venus Doom before it comes out isn't worth the price to pre-order it? It's only $14 to pre-order and get the one month membership.

But we're also a few years late getting HIM. We gotta play catch-up!

I will be severely disgusted if the only way to preview the album is to join this fan club. That's kind of like shitting on the dicks of all of those people who payed $50 for the album already...

Since tickets are about $30, will the overall price for doing thisfanclub crap be $44??? or is the $44 for the fan club and ticket then the cd will be added onto the price to make it around $60

It doesn't seem very fair. You're essentially paying to hear something you've already bought.

But it also says "get a permanent 10% off all merch"so you can't get a that deal if you only join for a month. Maybe there will be a place to say that u only sign up for a month instead a year???? Im so confused but o well i will check and see.???

I'd say that after the free month you can buy the 25 $ year renewal.

I never really thought of that, great idea! It wouldn't really make sense to keep charging you, well atleast I would be pist off. I never joined a "club" before so I wouldn't know.

It's a trial month. Anyway, it should be for all who pre-ordered any of the versions of the product they are selling. With an activation code or something like that inside the package.

Hold on, any of the versions??? If i already pre-ordered the regular cd (no limited edition oranything) and got e-mailed the activation code for the pre-sale, do I have to go through all that HIM club stuff, would i be able just to get tickets???

Hey I got an e-mail with a code for one-month membership.  All I have to do is pimp it out, haha.  :)

Apparently they sent them out to a bunch of webmasters.
