Unfortunately this goes beyond for the price of four V.D. books.
It cost 260.

It isn't really a new release.
All it is being re-released is all of the vinyls and four of which were out of print due to the fact that they were very limited printed (5,ooo). Some of which I am missing only two, To spend 3oo to 5oo for each vinyl is ridiculous, so why not get all of them at once.
The sound has been originally remastered to its fullest, they are worth it for those who collect vinyls. It comes with a special edtion book, a poster, and a suede case for the vinyls.
(Pretty much like that thing HIM released only these have been restored to their maximum state plus you get way better things).
This comes out Sept 4th.
Oh the sacrifices I must make, like you said, make my mouth all dolled up (for my g/f that is).

Hot Topic will be having a Venus Doom listening party September 7th at 7pm. Pretty sure this is nationwide. There was a sign up at my local store, but I didn't have a camera with me.

Yeah, I remember hearing about the Manson releases, Rammstein and some other Goffik bands. But since I never attend those sort of stores I was glad I skip them for a reason.

Not sure if its me but speak up if this is you too! When a new HIM album comes out, the best part is waking up and KNOWING you can go purchase it. You drive out listening to all your old HIM songs then once you see the album on the shelf you flip shit and you run to ur car and pop that mother in and blast the sweet sound all the way home....and you go the long way! So i think i may skip this event and not have to deal with all the little bam-o-gram fans.

Some street teams did local listening parties for DL as well. In Dallas we got to hear DL about 3 weeks prior to the release date.
