The debut video from HIM's new album Venus Doom (coming September 18th) has a
secret. Written as part of the original treatment by Director Meiert Avis, you
must watch carefully because things are not what they seem - and just when you
though you had it all figured out, there is more to find. Go to iTunes to begin
your journey, and then go to heartagram.com to solve the mystery. The person who
cracks the true code will get to see any HIM show of their choice in 2007 or 2008.

*sigh* This release date should never have been put back.

It's the only time I think in my life I will ever get to say that leaking is totally appropriate.

So Warner had more time to promote the album. And also because the new Smashing Pumpkins CD came out the same day VD was planned.

Yeah they put it back for promotional purposes like Daedalus said. I'm just impatient now, the album is really promising.

I think it would be fair to say we wouldn't have this album now. Warner has given the band huge exposure through Dark Light, which in itself is an album that is easy on the ear and has exposed the band to yet another fan base. This means the fan base will buy Venus Doom and so on.

I also think without Dark Light we wouldn't have this album. I don't think Ville was overly impressed with several factors on Dark Light so the lesser before the more if you like.
