No they have never done a studio version of the song, it would be great if they did.

I think the best cover is Rebel Yell, but Rebel Yell from Rock AM Ring 2008 was by far the best!

This reminded me of how THE X radio station was having a "cover" song day, so you could call in and request any cover song.  I called in and said "Hey can you play Wicked Game by HIM?" and the dude was like "The one from Razorblade Romance? That's a great one; yeah, I'll put that one on."  And two songs later Wicked Game was playing, hahaha.

So yeah, kinda random, but Wicked Game is probably my favorite cover then Poison Heart.

I think dont fear the reaper is the best cover the have done!!! and poison hear prob the worst, dont mess with the ramones haha

HIM has done a lot of great covers, but besides Wicked Game, I think Enjoy The Silence and Poison Heart are the best. Rebel Yell is awesome, but I don't think it's better than Billy Idol. I like both versions about the same. And did anyone hear the Fade Into You live cover? I think that one was awesome, too.

this may sound strange but i really like the cover of all for you, the way ville sings it just makes it incredible despite it being just a intro to RHIMA.

I agree! I like that cover a lot too, especially when he switches to his high voice. I just wish it could have been longer. All of HIM's cover songs are awesome. :)

Wicked Game is the quintessential HIM cover song. It's the only one of the covers that I find is able to seem as much of a HIM song as their originals.

yeah.... this is right... but since most of their covers are live covers and not studio recordings i can't tell how the others would sound ;)

I think their best cover it is "Solitary Man". It is incredible how, after a long time of "classical" Wicked Game or (Don't Fear) The Reaper, they made a nice "cover-comeback" in 2004.
Another covers that I like are Poison Heart (live version) and Some Kinda Hate, more softly like the originals...

I still think though Don't Fear The Reaper is the best cover song I've ever heard, better then the original without a doubt.
