poison heart is awesome. listen to the original. HIM did quite a good job with it. Rebell Yell studio version is what i have been waiting for for years

rebel yell has got to be my fav(more specifically the version at provinssirock 1999)
sailin on (originally by bad brains is another amazing one)
hell they are all good

the only one i dont understand is 'dont shake me lucifer' by roky erikson. i've heard the original and they dont sound the same and the lyrics are totally different. if anyone has any insight to this let me know

I don't like covers but Wicked Game is amazing; it could be the HIM's song. HIM's version is much better. I remember when I first saw the video; I was impressed.

the most of him's cover are really good (always there is some which not) but I think the best him cover ever is rebel yell....wicked game is the most famous one,but it is the best?....and there are a lot more,like enjoy the silence,solitary man,(don't fear the reaper),poison heart,hand of doom,etc....so much more cover songs !!!!!!!!

i would say villes acoustic cover of Lonely Road is the best

followed by rebel yell and enjoy the silence

Wicked Game is by far my favorite song.. Chris Isaak's Version okay but HIM did better.

i think HIM should cover personal jesus. they would do a good job of that. also they need to bring back rebel yell and dont shake me lucifer.

They have really good covers.

Wicked Game is far best than the original, to me. And so is Solitary Man.

I love the Rebel Yell performance at Provinssirock in 1999 where the mic gives feedback and Ville say "woo" in a really adorable way. Always makes me giggle like a schoolgirl!

Did they ever record Rebel Yell in a studio or it was just for live performance...?
