I hate that if you want to buy "And Love Said No" you have to pay a inport price. WHAT THE HELL IS THAT? You'd pay like $15 for a new cd. anyother H.I.M. cd in $15. But "And Love Said No" is $25 OR MORE! It can be so stupid sometimes...... Why do They charge a inport price?

What are you talking about? You can buy ALSN in just about any country nowadays and pay the average local price. You CAN buy import versions if you chose to, but you shouldn't have to anymore. Hell, Best Buy has them here in the U.S. for 11.99, and Target has it for 10.99.

That means they mostly have import copies in stock. Order it online, either BB or Amazon both have it for cheap.

Amazon does tend to have better prices on their CD's I like them a little right now....except for the fact that I have been waiting for over 3 months for a book that I ordered and then they wanted to extend the time!!! Now I have from today till Sept.1 to recieve it!!! what a crock of shit!! The same thing happened when I ordered Love Metal Archives. Except it only took 2 months to get here.

and love said no came like 2 months for me from tower records, but it was when it came out. Imports you have to understand the whole terrorism thing is making it harder for shit to be shipped across the ocean. But i think bestbuy.com has some good prices on cds. Ebay too!

The reason is domestic (U.S.) versions cost less than imports. It costs companies extra money to import CDs intended for other countries to sell in the U.S., therefore, they charge higher prices. ALSN was the last HIM CD to be released domestically, so alot of stores imported copies, moreso than any of the other HIM albums.
And no, the cover for Venus Doom has not been releaed yet. Soon, though.

that is true

imports are more for people who really want the cd bad or are willing to pay extra for the made in so and so mark on the cd

Yeah. Same tracklist and everything. The only differences are the US copyrights and whatnot.

I have the Finnish import, and it's worth it just for the live DVD. It's region 2 and only plays in my computer, but it's an awesome video.

Thanks, I was wondering about that.

The dvd also came with the UK version.

I hate Bmg, they are a terrible record label, fair enough they have done good to us european fans, but it fucking sucks for americans, and asians as they don't get the kick ass versions that we get. But I do think its good that germans, finnish and Britains get better versions as they were the 'original' places HIM were going.

Although Warner could be doing a better job of getting singles out to americans,
that'd be fairer and better for everyone, anyone agree or am I making a cunt of myself?
