Yeah I just heard it this morning. There are only two "decent" songs. The rest blow chunks. Maybe they'd have been better off staying as nu-metal.

I actually like it. Leave Out All The Rest, Bleed It Out, and Shadow Of The Day are pretty catchy.

I think the only "Nu-Metal" band I have ever liked is Cold. They were good, though their new band is more soft than any of their previous work. I am hopeful to hear their catalog either on Tour or purchase their material.
L.P. had maybe two or three good songs that were "ok" not that amazing, but it was because their keyboardist/ what the hell he is (that lil' asian dude) created some good riffs.
Can't say I care for the Band, they recorded their new album 15 minutes away from my Parents house. Plus maybe a week ago I bumped into their Producer (Rick Rubin)(who is doing as we speak the new 'Tallica album) and he said some interesting comments about their work as well as L.P.'s creative flow.

$5 says HIM (Ville) fucks it up somehow.

It seems like anytime they have a shot at getting some mainstream attention, its sabotaged.  Even with the saturation of HIM shit at hot topic, they aren't mainstream and may not want to be.  My guess is that they back out and do their own tour because they aren't headliners (and they don't like opening much).

Either way, they really need to change the setlist and arrangements up.  They can drop Wicked Game as Three Days Grace is playing it now.  They have more than enough material to play well past an hour.  If they are going to make a bid for mainstream attention, they're gonna have to step it up live.

Sorry for ranting.

Tickets are more than what I'd thought they'd be, but at least I get to see Placebo. Wasn't able to when they toured the US for the first time. I'm excited as hell to see HIM again, of course, and don't really mind having to stand through the other bands. They're all definitely tolerable, on the main stage anyway.

WOW. This is probably the worst news I have heard in a long time. EVERY SINGLE band besides HIM sucks veryyyy bad. If HIM are "Going back to their roots" how about touring with bands that have real talent. I am now debating  whether or not to go. I might just wait for another tour they do with maybe just one sucky band and not a whole page of emo bitches.

I'm excited about this tour. I like MCR and TBS enough to want to see them live, although I wouldn't go see a show just for them. LP is good live, saw them once before when Meteora came out, so I'm looking forward to them. And of course, our boys. It's been a year since they last came into town so I'm excited to see them again. At least they'll be playing some new material!

Is this considered the official US tour? Im actually really pist. HIM is most successful when playing club tours and small venue places. This major tour stuff sucks.
