Man, I just got back from the Selma show.

I decided to skip the 2nd stage acts due to suckiness and the heat and made it there just in time to catch the end of Placebo's set.

HIM disappointed me.  The new songs sound great, but the Ville just seems like he's going through the motions.  One song after another made it seem like it was a 30 minute set rather than 40.

What was funny was how people were calling HIM "fags" (keep in mind I'm in Texas) when the guy from Taking Back Sunday was prancing around with a limp wrist all night.  Though nobody left the stadium believing that Gerard Way from MCR was straight.

He came out on stage and vogued for what seemed like forever.  He later asked the "boys" in the audience to take their shirts off as he smiled and "ooh and ahh'd" and called one guy "a fine specimen of a man."

Despite all that, MCR did put on a great show, as did Linkin Park.  I found an LP pick on the ground a few feet from me as people walked out.

Overall, the show was awesome, and I hate to say it, but HIM was boring.

MCR did the same thing with the shirts at my show it was so lame.

Oh, and anyone going to future shows, I need a favor.

Two shirts I wanted were sold out.  A heartagram inside a ribcage looking one, and a similar one with tour dates on the back.

If anyone would be willing to do that, PM me, and I'll get your details for the transaction.  Thanks!

Pic of one of the shirts in question for those who wanted to see it. I think this was the only one with tour dates. There were only three HIM shirts, this one, the ribcage one and a queer one with a gawdy white ornate heartagram all over the front and back.
By the way, just got back from the Dallas show and really all I can say is that it sounds like my experience is the same Jay had at his show. HIM wasn't bad, but certainly not as good as other bands. It left me disapointed especially because of all the non HIM fans that were there that will remain non fans. Getting to hear DLL, PKF and KOD was nice. PKF is really heavy in person and it seemed that the crowd was fairly into KOD.

I will pay full price for whoever gets me that shirt.

Small is my size.

I will reward whomever gets it for me, with something very secretive.

I haven't posted much, but im going to the Augest 31st show in Noblesville, i live about 45 mins away so when i heard HIM was coming to town, i was down.  I saw HIM last year in June in Chicago and i have to say it was a great show. Being it was my first time seein them live, i didn't know it was great compared to other shows, but they played for about an hour, then a 4 song encore.

Songs (No Order)

Pretending
In Joy and Sorrow
Your sweet 666
Buried alive by love
The Sacrament
Right here in my arms
wicked game
vampire heart
soul on fire
poison girl

and there could be a few others, but i just remember when they played their last note. EVERYONE in the place was chanting HIM, HIM, HIM, for at least 20 mins.

First Show, cant will till the 31st!
Sorry to ramble off topic

Killing is fine Jen, but sometimes you need to be a bit more creative.

Just killing execution style would not satisfy me, I admit.

But back to PR:

How have the Linkin Park sets been? I must admit, I'm a long running LP fan. If anyone could post some set lists, or possibly pictures of some of their merch, that would be fantastic.

Linkin Park was amazing at Dallas. There are 3 set lists they use, and at Dallas we got "B" The whole show was frickin amazing, and some of my favorite parts were the slower songs from Minutes to Midnight. As far as merch, they had like 10 different shirts, including a few "Project Revolution" ones with all the bands on them.

Set A -

02. Given Up
03. No More Sorrow
04. Lying From You
05. Don't Stay
06. Somewhere I Belong
07. From The Inside
08. Papercut
09. Points of Authority
10. In Pieces
11. Shadow Of The Day
12. Numb
13. Pushing Me Away (Piano Version)
14. Breaking The Habit
15. Crawling
16. The Little Things Give You Away
17. What I've Done
18. Faint
[Encore]
19. One Step Closer
20. In The End
21. Bleed It Out

Amen Nec...

I will give them a few catchy rocking songs,
but too bad they are a bunch of wangs with really no musical talent.
