In reality, it's good for them. Doing something new.

But I am a pretty age old HIM lover.

They always preformed Join Me in a different way.

I wanna hear them play more stuff like Pretending, Lose You Tonight, Stigmata Diaboli, Beyond Redemption...I'm sick of BABL and Wicked Game at EVERY show. At least Join Me has been phased out. It'll be a welcome return for it during 2008 or 2009 whenever they decide to bring it back. I just wish I'd get to hear them play Heartache Every Moment. It's my favorite song and I still haven't seen it live. I was lucky enough to see when they played In Joy and Sorrow last June, and I suppose that's as much DSBH as I'm gonna get for a while.

The whole band seems to be ashamed of that album.

I don't get it, it's like the best of them era.

As well as GLSV666

They preform It's all tears so fucking good.

It would be awesome if they play Stigmata Diaboli (strrrength :D ) and The Beginning of the End. From newer stuff - Beyond Redemtion, Lose You Tonight and Circle of Fear
For my name is sorrow and I'm a friend of misery
I deprived myself of love for eternal agony
And I don't even dare to try - I know I can only lose
Between this life I live and nothing I have to choose

I hope I'm not the only one, but Wings Of A Butterfly has sounded awful at every live show I've heard so far.

I'm really glad they have finally decided to pull Join Me, hopefully that will translate to every tour they do from here on out. Wicked Game can sound very cool, but it hasn't in the past few years. The best live versions of that can be found circa Razorblade era in my opinion.

Nice to see they are playing the new stuff, but I'd separate it out a little. At least play some of the old stuff first, so some of the crowd could possibly recognize it.

Tried to record HIM's set in Mountain View today but security caught me and asked me to stop. I tried to be sneaky about it, but they caught me a second time as well. Fuckers...  I only managed to get video of Dead Lovers Lane and Wings of a Butterfly. I left the camera recording pointed at the ground so I could at least get the audio of the last few songs. Set list was as follows

Dead Lovers Lane (video)
Wings of a Butterfly (video)
Buried Alive By Love (partial audio)
Wicked Game
Vampire Heart
Passion's Killing Floor (audio)
Soul On Fire (audio)
Killing Loneliness (audio)
Kiss of Dawn (audio)

Expect the video and audio to be uploaded tomorrow.

It came out pretty good though a bit bright because the sun was hitting the stage directly. The video and audio have been posted in the media section.

I wish they would quit playing Wicked Game.

I second that.

quit playing the same songs!   quit playing wings of a butterfly! and soul on fire!

they should bring back    For You and Gone with The Sin.

You can use the program Riva FLV Encoder to convert your video to flash and then upload to YouTube. A 4 minute file will typically be 15-20 megs after the conversion and be the same quality the video would turn out to be after uploading to YouTube anyways.

I just got back from Pheonix, and it was amazing. The concert was the best crowd so far (said every single band, even HIM). And I recorded two soucres one HD Video, and one B+ Audio. I will post the audio for you guys.

Awesome! I know the HD video is probably WAY too big to upload, but could you possibly convert it to a compressed format and share?

I might go to the show in Cleveland if I can get off work.

I'll just be purchasing lawn seats, I have no intention of laying down big bucks to see HIM play a shortened set. Linkin Park and Placebo should be fun to see as well, just a shame I have to sit through Taking Back Sunday and My Chemical Romance to do it.

What kind of merchandise are they selling at the show? Pictures would be nice; if possible.

I could possibly do a AVI or something. I just really wanna keep it lossless, but I'd rather trade it. Because I can put it on a normal DVD, and still keep HD quality.
