i need some advice,
there's this new girl that just started working where i do and it turns out she was someone i saw occasionally in high school before i graduated and i thought she was kind of cute but never got the chance to talk to her or anything and now that i see her almost everyday now i'm really starting to like her more and more every time i see her. i;m happy to go to work just because i get to see her but i don't know if she likes me back there are times i think she does and times i don't. i don't want to ask her out or anything right away since she just started and if she says no or doesn't like me i have to spend every day seeing her and feel awkward from now on.
should i wait or just go for it?

First off, learn the rules of punctuation; I nearly had a seizure trying to read that.

But to your question: Ask her out, but start small. You work together, so casually ask her if she might want to join you for lunch one day. If you need to, throw in the, "I hate eating alone," line, followed by some good ol' puppy dog eyes. If she isn't into a one-on-one confrontation so quickly, invite her to some get together you're having with your friends. Make sure you have female friends at this shindig so as to ease the tension. Then you tell those sons of bitches that they are to talk to up all night.

Note: inviting her somewhere as friends basically translates into an invitation into the Friend Zone, forevermore. Ideally you should just man-up and ask her out. If she blows you off, oh well. If you're nervous at the thought of that choice, just think like an economist: attribute a value to a relationship with this girl, then a value for failure, and fix a percentage failure/success rate to asking her out. If the relationship value is high enough to offset the danger of the failure value in conjunction with whatever you decide your failure/success percentage is, then take a shot. If not, you should probably still do it, but at least you can use some economic jargon to tell your friends that you didn't really pussy-out.
