Possibly the cover. This was found on a European web shop. It does look like the promo sticker could have indeed come from this image...

yeah thats it. i had that for a while i sent it to jay to start making a new web layout for the site but i didn't post it cause my friend who i got it from told me not to. cause it might get him in trouble lol. mine has the him logo on the top above her head and but it doesn't have the line going through it anymore. it looks like the backround they have been using for there metallica shows kinda looks more like a horror movie type font now the m kinda has a dripping effect like blood or something. it's also a painting that ville did.

hold on, that is gonna be the cover of the cd??? Im confsued. If that is the cover of the Cd im gonna be really pist. I mean its a great painting I like it alot, but not as a cd cover... im sry.

I never posted it either. That's not the one I used for the VD layout; I cropped it up and added some ripped graphics to the side.

Now I almost want to post the VD layout sample.

It's not super clear, but you can see how they changed the logo.

which shop, too much ugly to be real! i dont like nothing, where is venus there?

Yeah, it looks as though they're gonna drop the line-through thing. As for the painting, it could signify the doom of Venus, as that's a very unfortunate-looking person in the painting.

The painting is one Ville was supposed to have done while in New Orleans or something.

I gotta respect them for trying something different. I love the cover art, but I just don't like the new logo. HIM's logo is the same as the coca cola logo me. Whenever I see it, it just feels right. When I first got into HIM one of the things I instantly recognized was that the logo just felt like it belonged to them. The new one seems too generic for my tastes.

I don't think they are changing the logo. They probably just thought it would look better to have stand alone letters in front of the heartagram for the stage set. Probably easier to handle a large H, I, and M cut out then a whole H-I-M cut out. The promo flyers they are handing out at Warped still have the original logo on them.
