yeah, when I listened to it on the radio, it seemed like it ended abruptly... so there no doubts that the song was edited for the radio. The album version will sound way better it being 5+ minutes long :)

Well dude,  I will give you your first +1 Karma for this.   Thank you very much!

Fantastic stuff.

That has made me retract my statement about the production of the album.

I am SO excited right now  ;D

I found Kiss of Dawn very good. I can not get it out of my head. It's always on repeat.

KOD- 9/10 cute little smileys :)- Good lyrics, good riffs.

PKF- 7/10  8)- Sounds a little weird in the music area. Great lyrics.

VD- 6/10 :-\- I don't know what to say about this one, reminds me of the song Dark Light. Notice the self titled ones sound alike? Good lyrics. The editing disappoints me I guess.

Love In Cold Blood- This song, 40 seconds of listening even cought my attention, so I give it 9/10 :)

Dead Lovers Lane- 8/10. Amazing lyrics. Good riffs. Nice Solo's. Gas put a lot of effort into this one.

There you have it. My daily ratings.

The short clip of Bleed Well from the 120 seconds video had a pretty cool guitar riff in it.

Yeah it did.

So uh... 7/10? lol.

I am very much so a lyrical person. Grew up with poetry. But you gotta have all the music to make it sound beautiful.

I give it a 10/10. It's heavy and catchy as hell. I really like the structure of the song. Great choice for an opening track. Can't wait to hear it in CD quality!

I heard the full album this morning.
I can tell you that it is a 6 out of a 10.

That is my honest opinion.

Tauriainen, your musical tastes seem to be a lot broader than most people on these boards, and I believe that you are probably one of the more "brutal" critics on here. To those that are die-hard HIM fans, anything they put out will be pure gold. But I think a 6/10 is is pretty good coming from you  :P

What I've heard so far (most of the album haha) sounds a lot better than Dark Light in my opinion. Passion's Killing Floor was a little weak for me, though.

In a couple of days more material will be leaked.
Expect the tracks mentioned above be posted too, you will hear what I mean.

Plus that tally is rather harsh, considering that the album lacks a lot of work. Mastering and Mixing plus not to mention some volumes were not done well.

I mean yeah Gas experimented with new drum kits and he got to do some of his favorite Sepultura Drum fill ins in couple of tracks. Linde with his hand damaged sort of left the band a bit short, but still played a good part in the last stage of the work. Mige does the same pattern. The keyboards are still too present for an album that tries to theories the idea of a new sound. Sadly enough the vocals are dropped to a lower range only to become a male falsetto and devour much radio friendly material on MTV and the Radio.

Yeah, Homer is a picky PRICK!

You can say it, I am an asshole. But I try to be nice about it.

In the Interview mentioned you can tell Ville is trying too hard to prove that he wants to be noted as a heavier musician, too bad his music doesn't tally to that of his "favorite albums" to compare his material. Some of which does not touch the album he created for months.

Nah buddy, you are not an asshole.

You go by what you want, and don't care what others think about that, one of the many things I respect you for. :)

Does anyone notice some Bloody Sabbath sounds in the VD track?

I noticed it, very very sweet sounding stuff.  The influences are much stronger in this record than they were in Love Metal.
