Not going to make any solid comment on this song until I hear the studio version. But it does sound awesome live.

I don't get why alot of people are complaining that the album isn't going to be heavy enough. Why should it be heavy at all? (Apart from that Ville said it would be).

RR was pop - and as fas as I can tell most HIM people loved that sound and for alot it was their first hearing of HIM.
Personally, Greatest Lovesongs is my favourite HIM style - and that's dark - not heavy.
A mixture of those two styles (RR/GLSV666) would be perfect for me.

Exactly.

I personally think that RR/GLS mix would be quite rad  ;D

i have basically come to the conclusion that i will like any new HIM stuff right when its released.... and then about a year later i will finally decide whether i really enjoyed it or not.......

Agreed, the albums just don't age with me.

I think I only changed my opinion on a release with Dark Light.  But again I don't dislike that album at all.  I think its because we almost get dillusioned because its new stuff  ;D

I really liking the way this album is sounding so far and all I have heard is two live clips and Passion's Killing Floor.  I like these songs more than Wings Of A Butterfly and Killing Loneliness which I also heard early.  Tis promising.

I'm not sure if I'm hallucinating or what, but I thought, for a moment, I saw something that said "Click here to open up (some media player) to preview 3 new HIM songs" or something like that. I think I might just be tired.

EDIT - now that I look at it, if I connect different texts from the main page, I see where I thought I saw that from. Nevermind guys, false alarm.

So good.

I absolutly love RR!!!! And GLS666.
In my personal opinion their best albums were from RR to Love Metal.  I like DL, but I don't love it as much as the rest of HIM's albums.  So far what has been released or leaked sounds really good.

I agree, when dark light came out i was excited as all hell, picking up the limited internet edition version and even the regular cd. Now I never listen to it. I hope Venus Doom is better then Dark Light and I don't just leave it lying around in my car.

I caught myself listening to
The Cage
Face of God
VH

I never really do that.

But like I said.
I am a lyrical person.

My favorite tracks were Under the Rose, Drunk on Shadows and The Face of God.  The two bonus tracks were good, I thought.

I still listen to Under The Rose and Vampire Heart regularly, but that's about it. I always burn HIM "mix" Cds for my car, and most of the time it's mainly RR and DSBH stuff, peppered with a good mix of GLS666 and Love Metal. DL...not so much. Hell, I listen to Uneasy Listening 2 stuff more than Dark Light.
Come love me 'till it hurts, dance the neon noir with me.

You know what I think it is... it's not that the DL album wasn't good.... it's just that the songs get old fast unlike their past ones. I know that I fell in love with every song on DL except for DL itself lol but after constantly playing the CD over and over, it got old and that's when I started not likings some of it. I'm gonna be honest though... I havn't listened to DL since maybe almost a year, and I popped it in the other day and I enjoyed it... I still don't see why The Cage and Venus where not on the original albums, those songs were really good I thought.

My friend says he is downloading a link. I asked him for a hash for the torrent, but he refuses to give it up cos he thinks it could be a virus.

Dunce.

Well considering that the Promo is going to be released in America in a couple of days for some Magazines I might say that it might have already be out through friends. But not yet on the Net.
I am expecting mine from a friend from Finland.
Though I am more anxious to get the Entwine Singles than this Promo more than anything.

I am confuzzled.
You mean the lyrical notes or the rhythm arrangement?

From the looks of it they just gave you the E-Z Score sheet. Nothing that may look like it is the whole transcript.
Pretty boring if you ask me.
