Srry my last post was false but they confirmed the remake of the sacrament and dont fear the reaper.
REASONS:
THE SACRAMENT: Bam will direct the video and the name will be changed into sacramentum(latin for sacrament).
DONT FEAR THE REAPER: This ones long...really long...very long... lol. HIM found out that this song had a VERY LOW fanbase and is remaking it into two videos. Their version will be 8 minutes long, and containing some of Valos most kept secret lyrics in a notepad of his that he's been writing. The video will be taken place in Glasgow Necropolis which is a victorian cemetery in Glasgow, Scotland. Valo said its his favorite place on earth and would love to have it here.http://www.answers.com/topic/glasgow-necropolis
The other video will be for a movie coming out in August 31st 2007"HALLOWEEN"which is a remake of the Original "Halloween" that came out in the 1970's directed by Rob Zombie;rocker turned director. Apparently the original blue oyster cult song plays in various scenes of the movie. Valo claims that this is one of His favourite movies. THIS IS CONFIRMED AND I CANT BELEIVE WHAT IM ABOUT TO SAY BUT ITS CONFIRMED AS WELL! Bam apparently has a small singing part in sacramentum(RM) and in dont fear the reaper(RM).

But there are a lot of rumors about HIM that aren't true, so that's why we want to know what the source is.

A lot of weird shit is popping up lately. If you check out Wikipedia's page for Venus Doom, it has two new song titles listed: "Sleep Walking Past Hope" and "Cyanide Sun". Cyanide Sun sounds gay, but Sleep Walking Past Hope is pretty cool. Hopefully at least that one's true.

im just saying i heard it on mtv2. They would make a new dont fear the reaper song and i dont know why they would remake the sacrament cuz thats one of my favorite songs.
The only good thing I heard from this is that they would make a promo featuring clips from the remake of my favorite movie series ever"HALLOWEEN"

Wow this is all very interesting thanks for sharing guys. And  The Sacrament thanks for sharing that tid bit of info I am gonna go see if I can find out anything else from this MTV interview and what not. Either way it looks like HIM is back in the spotlight again people. ^_^ Hopefully for the better this time. Which I do believe.

I've heard several dates including the 10th but September 10th is on a Monday and in the US new releases are released on Tuesday's.

I'm stoked about this album. Heavy sounds so great! If it's as heavy (or a bit heavier) than Greatest Lovesongs 666 then I will do backflips lol. I love all the albums but after DL I'm ready for something a lot harder  ;D
