It mentioned in Kerrang! about the whole "A Beautiful Monster" thing.  Perhaps it's just playing with us.  And if it's out late 2007, two years is about an average wait for an album.

I think it's a tad bit too early to start speculating the new album since it's only beginning of summer and the album is supposed to be released next fall/winter.

Well, the machine of guessing has been activated... :o ::)

Sure it's a bit early, but it's also a reaction that shows our anticipations.

its not so strange that the new album will be release so soon... They have contract with their new label which is not so new already...and they have to execute this contract....

thats only my opinion....

They need to make the songs sound like... hmm, sorta like. Too Happy to be alive, or something along those lines.

Ville's working on his scream/growl, while Linde's working on his palm muting and power chord speed, while Mige's working his backing growl.  Gas' love for metal will come out, and Burton is getting "spooky/horror" effects added to his set.  The band's looking to play a lot of downtuned guitars next album.

That should help you to figure out what direction they're going.

Blabbermouth:

H.I.M. To Pursue 'More Aggressive, A Bit Punkier, Faster' Direction On Next Album - June 3, 2006

After two-and-a-half weeks of touring and two summer festival shows, Finnish goth metallers will record demos for their upcoming album in September, H.I.M. frontman Ville Valo told the free Texas weekly publication What's Up for its May 31-June 6 issue.

After that, they'll show the new songs to their label and to Tim Palmer (DAVID BOWIE, OZZY OSBOURNE), who produced "Dark Light", their latest CD. If all goes well, Valo says, they could be in the studio by January and putting out a new album — their sixth — by September 2007.

"I've got a lot of one-liners in lyrics and musical ideas for maybe 12 songs," Valo told What's Up. "But from those 12 maybe six will end up on the album. What we're doing with the band now is trying to figure out the sound and direction with the next one. We don't want to do the same old, same old again. It's probably going to be a bit more aggressive, a bit punkier, faster so to speak."

Gas 4/4 Beat, some low splash work here and dare.
Mige as follows the root notes.
Burton portrays eerie sounds in particular scenes of the songs.
Linde comes with a riff which will be the entire song. The Solos will be a half step leap.
Ville ...... well we are always "surprised" with his stuff.
::)

Yep, that sounds like a new HIM to me.

I just hope they dont invite the same producers and focus less on the idea that their image (heartagram) should be dependable. But than again, thats what puts the meals on their plate. So Blah.

I expect other bands releases before this one arrives. My list consist of nearly 30 different artist so you can imagine how far these guys are on there.

By the way Dylon, Love your Avatar and Signature. I have been a fan since '98 and still going strong (in a certain sense).

That title sounds better than Dark Light. Granted it has a very "My Chemical Romance" vibe to it.

As far as I see it, this will be HIM's make-or-break album. My expectations for Dark Light were far from met, yet I still have faith in them. I think they need to go back and record a really hard, gothic masterpiece.

I have a feeling Sire will not be able to properly promote this album, and it won't do as well in the US, however I think it probably will do very well in Europe.

The only problem I can forsee is that the band may strongly disagree with eachother about the album's overall sound. If it doesn't happen, great. But if it does, I can see a departure from at least one band member, my guess would be Gas or Linde.
