Hey everyone

Ive been wondering about this HIM song

when I first downloaded it, it was in very poor quality but it sounded so different from their other songs.

Then Later I got a perfect quality version of it

(If you want the track ask me and ill upload it for u)

But I heard that when their drummer quit they used a drum machine

but then gas Lipstick joined them and they rerecorded the entire album

is there more of those old razorblade tracks out there?

if anyone can confirm this id appreciate it...

There is a random question thread.

The best theory I've heard is that it's an early demo (Death Is In Love With Us) from a 1998 session with John Fryer. It was then found on the net in 2004 by MMH (i think).

As for more demos, there was an interview with Bam once where he talked about an entire series of Razorblade Romance demos that Ville carries on his laptop.

I've heard people say they were going to ask Ville after a concert, if they saw him or anything, but I don't guess anyone did.

they wernt demos at all, i remember reading something about the "too happy to be alive" was part of a full album. the entire Razorblade romance was supposed to have sounded like that. They had the entire album recorded and ville didnt like it so they re did it and i think too happy was supposed to be the demo for 666 revisited which became death is in love with us

They had recorded "Slippery When Dead" (the original Razorblade Romance album) which included THTBA on it.

Then Gas joined and they decided to rerecord the entire album.

that's the best one but there are also versions about 4 and 3 mb.and the last one isn't full and the quality is awful.if you want, i can upoload it.

They recorded "Rescue" in one of Bam's studio's, correct me if I am wrong.

Rescue wasn't recorded in Bam's studio. He didnt even have a studio until around the same time he got his Sirius show.

The song was sent to me by someone who does music reviews and interviews for various websites. He was given the song by someone in a band who had opened for HIM in the US. Don't ask me who, I don't know. The only plausible explanation for the song thus far has been that it's a Razorblade Romance studio scrap or demo. Now, the problem is I don't have it anymore. Fucking hard drive died on me. Anybody wanna hook me up with the high quality version?

Keep in mind this song was recorded before RR. So I am saying 99'-00'.

It didn't surface until 04.
They need more songs like this one.

The reason for rerecording the album again was becasue Ville was not happy with the first version and then they also changed the producer.
