Anyone like them? They are one of my favourite bands, and possibly the best live show ever.

Rammstein isn't my favorite band, but yeah, they have great live shows :). They give the audience what they want!

Hell yeah, been into rammstein since i heard du hast for the first time in '97. Kickass live.  Live Aus Berlin should be mandatory viewing for every band so they know how to do a live show.
Anyone listened to rosenrot yet?

I really liked the band since Sehnsucht came out. But nowadays, I not so into Rammstein as a couple of years ago. It still is one of my favorite bands.

I like Rosenrot more then Reise,Reise. RR has great songs, but I don't like the first songs.

You can clearly hear that Rosenrot is written in the same period as RR, it has the same feeling. The other albums were all different from each other, but Rosenrot and RR are almost the same.

The 'Rosenrot' videoclip is great, the next videoclip 'Mann gegen Mann' is coming (in March)

I was into Rammstein as soon as their first album Herzeleid came out in the middle of the ninetees. I've also been to some of their shows in between 1997 and 2005. The shows are really great as there are many special and fire effects. The music itself, well, it was kinda new back in the ninetees with their strange lyrics (I am from Germany so I understand everything perfect), but there hasn't been too much of a musical evolution in any way since then, so it's getting  boring - at least for me...

Nice to hear from a German fan too! I never really find many German fans, but every time i listen to a bootleg of them from a German city, i can hear that the people there are really into it. I guess the lyrics don't appeal to everyone who understands it though...

I think they have evolved in some ways. Herzeleid was basic, but raw, and lately we now have Rosenrot, which is obviously a more talented work. They have such a mix of songs (industrial, techno, calm, heavy, etc...) that i love every song they've done.

Has anyone else seen them live? Not just on DVD, but been to a show?

If anyone's interested, i'll post up a bootleg of the last (reise, reise) tour?

not necessarily I can speak broken basic german.  Hast does mean have, hasst means hate. He was just translating according to the title.  In the english version of the song Till sings the chorus like this:

you
you hate
you hate me
you hate me to say
you hate me to say and i did not obey.

so you really aren't wrong.

Ahhh I wish Rammstein could come where I live, let alone Canada... Everytime I watch Volkerball I become depressed because I'll never see them... but I soon get over it because they are just amazing. I'd have to say Mutter's my favourite album. Stoked for Emigrate's album too!!

Amazing Apocalyptica song by the way
