Well I am a newer fan and not ashamed to admit it. What's sad is that I missed out on a lot - this band is awesome! I actually listened to song samples on MSN music before I decided to buy everything. I picked up Dark Light and Deep Shadows & Brilliant Highlights first. The rest were bought within a 2-week timespan after that. I really love this band and fell head over heels for their music!

Razorblade Romance

I bought it 2 or 3 years ago because my friends wouldn't stop talking about this album and the song razorblade kiss so I bought the album, listened to the song, and was instantly hooked!

My mom's friend burnt me a copy of Greatest Love Songs Vol. 666 a few years back. Over the next few months I bought up everything I could find.

Well I had heard Wicked Game from GLS666 but it was first when RR came when I got my first HIM album. Been a Hard-Core fan ever since!

I saw HIM's video, Join Me in Death, on fuse and after that I went out and bought the RR cd. Soon after, I bought every one of their cd's and love them all!

Yeh, the Berlin show got me into HIM.
I was a HUGE Billy Idol fan. And they played Rebel Yell...
Listend to them more, and the band HIM and I had a lot in common, which NEVER happens with me and a band...

First I downloaded some of their songs from the internet and then I bought the albums

I had to buy Greatest Love songs and Deep Shadows as IMPORTS

$30 each
I feel dumb now it was a waste of money If i waited a little bit more could of got it for 12$

I downloaded a bunch of HIM songs back in 2003, It took me awhile to get into them, mainly because i was sort of closed minded about the "death and love" type thing. It depressed me, so i couldnt listen too much. As time went on tho, i learned to appreciate it and now if anything, it helps me to feel better.

Soo i went out and bought Dark Light when it came out, and a few vinyls.

A friend of mine really loved HIM and she talked about them all the time, but I'm a oldies rock and metal fan so I wasn't to happy about her making me swear I'd buy a HIM cd. The only one the store had was DL at the very bottom of a on sale ben, that didn't make me feel any better. So when I was in the car I popped it in my player and crossed my fingers. When I heard 'Vampire Heart' I had a epiphamy.(Corny I know but it's true) After I fell in love with every song on the alumb I went out and brought 'Love Metal' and went from there. I own all the almubs and love them all, but I can't listen to DL much anymore...I just heard it too many times...but I still listen to 'Vampire Heart'

My first HIM album was RR, but I got my first taste of the band from my (ex)sister-in-law: she gave me a bunch of HIM songs plus the video for Join Me In Death (all of which I lost when my pc crashed, dammit).

I've downloaded tracks one by one, and then I realised that i have around 40 HIM songs on PC... And then I've burned RR and GLS.
First CD I've owned legally (a few months ago) was GLS.
