We are Helldone bound, got tickets for all 3 nights. Can’t believe It’s actually back.

I'm worried about him disappearing again. I just assumed that after the NN tour he'd go off and do another album and he'd pop up in a year or two...but this concerns me that he's gonna take another extended absence from the limelight.

Which shows are you guys going to? I’m hoping I’ll get tickets for Helldone tomorrow and I’ll likely go to the London show.
Also I found it a little odd in the Kerrang post that he essentially says this is the end of the VV era. Hoping he doesn’t disappear again.

They should record Live Bluray for Royal Albert Hall show.

To be honest I actually love that there are 2 guitarists In this new band and I'm actually saddened that we won't get to see them much longer. Linde plays guitar like a God but hearing 2 guitars and pre recorded backing tracks definitely added something

Hopefully his new band has a keyboardist too. I miss having live keyboards. Instead of the non-existent unless the song is Join Me.

The lack of live keyboards makes the performance of the HIM feel empty at times. They add alot to the songs.

I wonder if Linde or Midge will make an appearance at helldone and possibly ignite thoughts of bringing HIM back (wishful thinking)

It’d make no sense to call it VV, if he starts making music with these guys, or a combination of these guys he playing with live, especially the two guitarists.

Hopefully his new band has a keyboardist too. I miss having live keyboards. Instead of the non-existent unless the song is Join Me.

Ville Valo has announced that he’ll soon be moving on from his VV solo project, and the Neon Noir album cycle.

Having launched VV to great acclaim in 2022, and shared his 4/5-rated album back in January, Ville has now revealed that an upcoming world tour – which runs up to next May – will conclude this particular chapter of his musical life.

“The idea behind VV and Neon Noir was to symbolically finish what HIM started, and after the bangs and whimpers at the Royal Albert Hall it’s time to reshuffle the pieces of the puzzle once again and give Herbert West a shout,” he explains.

Ville adds that: “I had no expectations whatsoever when releasing music under the banner of VV, so I’ve been quite shocked to see people still find my kind of racket enjoyable, warts and all. Touring has been way less painful than I dared to hope, and as we say in Finland, it fits my arse like a glove. A mourning glove from a bygone era.”

Ville’s final VV tour will conclude with a stop at London’s beautiful Royal Albert Hall on May 10, 2024. Before that, he’s also bringing back his curated Helldone Festival this coming New Year’s Eve in his native Finland.

I’d love to hear Circle of Fear live again. It even fits his baritone lows during the verses.
