I thought this would be a good idea. HIM are probably going to make a lot of TV appearences since their new album is coming out, so keep it all in here. This way the board stays cleaner.

hopefully HIM will "perform" on Sunday nights TOTP. they will deffinately be on the chart countdown but hopefully they will have them in the studio or show the video or something.

If the DVD is unofficial it will be pointless buying it, it will have all the footage thats been seen before in terms of interviews.

To vote for HIM on Oven Fresh you go to http://www.fuse.tv then at the top you will see "shows" scroll down to Oven Fresh and you will be taken to a page with screenshots from videos. After that go to Wings of a Butterfly and click the thumbs up. I don't know if this will affect it but after that you should give the other videos a thumbs down (unless you like them.)

And because I loathe mtv/mtv2(even headbangers ball has been destroyed), than in my opinion...this sucks. But it's beyond wonderful for the guys! They really REALLY deserve this! So congradulations!

It showed a commercial for new music tuesdays during the making of. I noticed in the exact center of the screen it said HIM. I am not all too familiar with MTV, but I think that is good news.
I thought it was funny how Bam decided that he needed to include when the fan met him at the photoshoot. He seems like he may be a bit obsessed with himself.

i was gonna post two versions of the files this morning, but when i tried to make a smaller version of the mpeg2, it kept crashing my comp :(
i will uipload the mpeg2, but it is over a gig in size....so be patient, as it will take a while to load up. i will also get on the hub when i get off of work (6am central us time) and share it there. :)
ps... the reason it is taking sooo long, is because i work from 6pm to 6am :(.

Ville and Mige are co-hosting Steven's Untitled Rock Show right now on fuse. Its 10pm on the east coast. Someone should capture this. I'm out of dvd-rs so i can't. >:(

i been hearing from people at other places that the content will only be available to US residents only.
currently i am working with the members of another board (nothing music related) and we are working on getting a rip of the content.
to be honest i was bit disappointed with the performance they seem out of tone and unhappy to be at the place. you can see ville was a bit frustrated because he wasnt allowed to smoke. a few times he puts his right hand over his mouth as if he was going to put a fag on his mouth.

It was on MTV's "Advance Warning" show, which did air on MTV. I believe there is a new episode once a month, so you may be able to catch a repeat, before the next new episode airs, sometime in January.
The show on TV didn't have any more HIM footage than what you can see on overdrive.mtv.com, (just the live in studio performance of WOAB) but it did have an interview with The 69 Eyes and their video "Lost Boys".
Bam was a special guest and he talked about his new record label, Casual Madness. He is apparently signing The 69 Eyes and they will be touring the US starting in March 06.
CKY will also be releasing some new-old material on the Casual Madness label, but just stuff that their current label never released.
Bam also explained the heartagram doesn't and never has belonged to him and he called anyone who thinks so "an Idiot" because it only takes one minute of internet searching to find that it belongs to HIM.

I believe the 69 eyes are already on the label. I don't own the american version of their cd yet, but apparently it has 456 Entertainment (Carson Daly's Label) and Casual Madness (Bam's label) on the back of it.

It really isn't up to HIM. Its up to Warner, and of course it will be played on MTV just as WOAB is. Promotion is Promotion. And for TRL I thought fans voted or something like that. And the video should start airing as soon as the single is released in January.

If your talking about TRL it could be, I don't watch it, that was just a guess. But i'm pretty sure that if Warner wants it played MTV will play it. Same with Fuse. I'm interested on the reaction Killing Loneliness will get in the states. It seems as though WOAB has been doing well.

Yah I'm watching right now (a re-run) I was freaked out before because the 69 eyes are now on the countdown. (number 7: Lost Boys) and HIM is all of sudden number 1! Very exciting.
However Bam is "hosting" so he probably had something to do with it, but whatever.

i wont stop liking HIM because of them on MTV or MTV 2 i just wont have that special flare when i used to have a boner for the band Ill stop liking HIM when they put out shitty CD's and Dark Light was close to being shitty. In a sort of odd happening, Wings of a Butterfly completely dropped off of this week's Active Rock Charts. Last week it had fallen 2 spots from 16 to 18... and this week, it's suddenly gone. This is a shocker, especially after MTV picked it up recently.
On the Rock Charts (Different from Active Rock) it's still at 28. Also, 26 on Alternative Chart.

Today I was in Target and read a little bit of Rolling Stone magazine. In the back of it, they have a couple lists of bestselling albums and singles and whatever. They had the Top 5 MTV2 videos, and numero uno was Wings of a Butterfly. It even had a little picture of the band. Very small, but nice to see HIM in Rolling Stone.

It could be because the single has been out for so long. Maybe at a certain time frame it drops from the active charts? I'm not too concerned...it's still played more and more on MTV and MTV2. It's pulling a "My Chemical Romance" and slowly gaining popularity.

HIM recently been on RTL's ultimate chart show. The topic was best rocks acts.
They performaned Killing Loneliness, although it was just a playback performance. They also did some babbling after that, if anyone's interested I can up that, too.

Ok, here's the rest of it. Most of the talking is in german, so a few probably won't understand it. They just talked about how well beloved Ville is and that he needs beer with ice cubes to cool him down, because of the big temperature differences between Finland and other countries.

I just saw a replay of it. I didn't have enough time to capture it. Ville got the idea for Killing Loneliness from Brandon Novak (some of you might know him from Viva La Bam). Because he use to be on drugs pretty bad.

I doubt this has been posted because it's too silly. I was watching Heavy: The Story of Metal. And during the section when they talk about Ozzy creating Ozzfest they showed clips of all these bands that had played. Guess who was in the group.... HIM. For like 3 seconds there was ville, short hair, and cigg singing into a mic. What? Question mark....? I'm pretty sure thoes guys never played ozzfest, nor would they really fit in if billed.
I thought it was interesting, it had nothing to do with anything. Just entertaining to post.

I think it was the Download festival that they did. That was considered a part of Ozzfest or something. Thats why their performance of "Soul on Fire" appeared on the Ozzfest 10th Anniversary dvd/cd.

I think it's taped a day in advance. I remember running into this same problem when Fireball Ministry was supposed to be on. It wasn't the right day and I missed it.
I dug around on the Last Call website and couldn't find much. Dark Light is listed under music and says that HIM will be performing Killing Loneliness and Wings of a Butterfly but it doesn't say what day it airs.
Monday seems like the best guess.

horrendous. carson daly. ville smiled like he was medicated...like laura bush. he applied all the mannerisms, but they looked fake. the posing with the hand on the hip like mick jagger has to go. so does the screaming. his screams are weak, not cause his voice is going. at the end of the show, ville standing with his arm around the female guest, like he's trying to be an american rock star. mige is a bigger guy now, he shouldn't wear a shirt like that on national tv. the sound was small...was linde even there?

I thought it was a really good performance. I prefer the Ville who moves around when singing. The posing of the hand on the hip and the screams are just part of his stage persona. He's been doing both for a while now. I have no complaints. He looked like he was having alot of fun. Now Mige... :o He wore the same thing when I saw them perform in Mountain View. I think he's going for the sex appeal :D

when they give a clip of the audience I was surprised, basically the whole audience consisted of fans.... it was pretty cool... the performance was ok, it sucks that it was only one song.. I wished they could have done two.

Sylvie made some interesting comments and I sort of agree with them. I think Ville was nervous but happy probably because with the Daly show that was it for the tour. I thought they also did Wings of a Butterfly on the show. Carson Daly is such a goofus. I can take Kimmel but not Daly especially when he starts the bs about how he and Bam are such good friends and what a fan he is of HIM's music. What a kiss ass! Carson got some information wrong and said they just got off the Vans Warped Tour. The performance was great though. There was a cool shot of Ville screaming for the crowd towards the end.
