Title: was HIM Live in Detroit supposed to be a full DVD?

Everywhere I look, the name "promo DVD" is attached to it's name. There were a few tracks on VD in the iTunes store from this show. However I'm beginning to wonder if this was shot for an intended Live DVD....I really wouldn't be superised, but can anyone confirm this?

I know MTV Filmed it for a segment, but I'm wondering if they planned to maybe release it with an album as a box set maybe? It seems like a waste of a show for mtv to just record 4 songs
