Just saw on IG and Twitter that there's supposed to be news coming out from Ville next week on Jussi69's Rock 'n' Roll Circus radio show?!?!?
What could it beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee??? :o
Anyone wanna blindly speculate with me while we wait? ;D
Update 4/11: the next two shows with Ville on will be 4/22 and 4/29 at 7PM Finnish time

Actually what we can expect?
- Ville solo project restart (it was cancelled year ago) - Daniel Lioneye (new album in mixing production - release in the summer/autumn) - Finally working on the new HIM album - Side project (ABBA cover its to small project IMO to be announced) - Gas is coming back - the band will have two drummers :P - Video Archive Vol. 2 - SOmething unexpected?

I'm also hoping for a HIM + 69 Eyes tour or collab or something!! I don't think it'll just be another announcement about the cover with MGT since that's basically old news by now. And I don't think Jussi would be hyping it if it were bad news. So I'm staying optimistic until proven otherwise! ;D Top of my wishlist - new album and US tour.

@Alex : oh yeah DVD Love Metal Archives vol 2 would have been fucking great and reasonable as it has been 11 long years since the Vol 1.....
but if they (HIM or Ville) wanted to announce something, then why using Jussi from the 69 Eyes? It must be something that has something to do with HIM and The 69 Eyes or Ville and Jussi (i bet),... what comes to my mind : HIM + The 69 Eyes tour (this autumn or early next year) Jussi as a drummer in Villes solo project Ville on some upcoming The 69 Eyes song? (would be cool) Ville and Jussi are happy couple (joke) ;D

OK good to know and thanks! .... so cool news = good news. Who would say that bad news are cool news? no one. And as far as HIM already tried Kosmo last year on tour, i doubt Ville will announce another tour to practice live with Kosmo so i bet : New album of Rambo Rimbaud or new HIM album. If it was something about new DL album there would have been Linde instead of Ville and if about Knowing Me , Knowing You, there would have been MGT. So it is going to be something about HIM or Rambo.
i want the new HIM album.

I agree with DarkSecret666. I believe Jussi just made a promo or a little sneak peek of the upcoming interview, and nothing to do with the 69 eyes. I think it's gonna be a regular interview with Ville about HIM news and plans. And yeah, I agree with you guys, I don't know why, but that #lovemetal in Jussi post made me think of Love metal archives vol. 2. It would be sooooooo great! ::)
Hope somebody on youtube will record this and make subtitles to the record (am I dreaming too big? :D) Just to know latest HIM stuff and listen to Ville's amazing voice. It's been a long time since propper HIM interview.

Jussi just posted on his Twitter that the interview with Ville won't start for around another half an hour or so. In the meantime, the new 69 Eyes song "Dolce Vita" will have its world premiere, and he strongly hinted that Ville brought along a world premiere of his own. A picture of Rambo was also tweeted, so take that as you will. Might be worth sticking around for after all.

Yes, they first said that there will be some surprise song and they just played the "world premiere" of the MGT song. I was like... And Ville isn't in the studio now, but he is gonna come next weeks and talk some shit with Jussi. no one said its going to be the BIG news or something spectacular..... "some cool news" is definitely (after today) not a big news
and you have seen it in the video - just look at the text, tags and watch it, its just a promo of the Knowing Me, Knowing You. Nothing to do with HIM whatsoever. We all expected something, we got nothing. Announcing Abba cover song and the date when the single will be available is not a news as it was well known few weeks before. But it succeeded - we all listened as sheeps so they had views and visitors and listeners. Ville is getting some coin from the Abba cover as well so its in his onw interest that the more people will know, more people will buy the single / album and more coins for Ville and of course the main reason is to help his friend MGT, his great friend who Ville never said a single word about before.
I am telling you guys, dont get your hopes high, this is Ville Valo, i thought you already knew him , right? :D Remember our expectations with every new tour´s setlist? Or tracklist of Deluxe Reissues ? Or Rambo Rimbaud which was supposed to be released in 2015? Or whatever really? I meant that seriously, the new HIM album wont be out sooner than summer 2017........... And i am too "soon" with that, remember how long it took to finish Tears On Tape? We waited until the end of April 2013, they recorded it in summer 2012.... Now Daniel Lioneye is working on the new album - it is already taking too long for Linde, and it wont be out soon anyway, then some tour to promote it - that means no HIM album recording, demoing, rehearsing.... This all means that maybe Ville is figuring some ideas together, building some song skeletons, writing some lyrics and ideas. They need to make the songs first (remember they are lazy, older and they take so long) then they need to make demos, then figuring how to improve them, then rehearsing them, then recording million versions, then deciding the final version, then recording the final version , then mastering it, mixing it, post production - and its HIM so ...... dont get your hopes high guys

So, Jussi posted on FB that Ville will be his guest through the whole show for the upcoming specials in April. At least something, still better than pointless 2 minutes clip. Hope we will hear something new and not the same old HIM shit Ville talks about in every interview :D

I know this isn't the right topic, but anyway, are there any news about The 69 eyes new album? I just can't find any info about it....
Comes out on April 22nd. I could've swore it was the 4th. Anyways, it's called Universal Monsters. First single was called Jet Fighter Plane. You can find it on YouTube. Second is going to be Dolce Vita. The music video for that is supposed to come out next week.

I was worried for a second that I'd missed Ville on Jussi's show last Friday but then I looked it up and wanted to post here in case anyone else is wondering as well...the next two shows with Ville on will be 4/22 and 4/29 at 7PM Finnish time (which is 11AM for me).
I added this info to the first post of this thread too so it will show on the homepage

I don't know. It just seems to me that if Ville was going to make a "big" announcement concerning HIM, a bigger deal would've been made out of his first appearance than it was and he would've made the announcement then when more people were tuning in to see what he was going to say. Then again, there has to be a reason why he's going to be on the show two more times. He has to have something to talk about. I can understand saving the best for last and making people tune in each time, but especially after the first appearance, how many people are going to want to keep listening only to be disappointed? Is Jussi's show really the place to break something big, especially when it's all in Finnish, though? I mean, I guess it's just as good as anywhere else for the band these days. Any website that wants to report on HIM can pick up whatever the story is later and run it. Maybe there's an English press release already prepared if Ville does have something to say about HIM that's worthy of reporting. I have a feeling he's just going to say the general things that he's been saying. Maybe he will confirm the band will be going into the studio later this year, but I think that's about all we can expect besides the usual vague responses.

the music video for Abba cover is knocking on the door, i guess a part of this "interview" will be about the music video shooting and i dont know but i dont expect anything about HIM really there is no advertisement, nothing so no big deal regarding this "Ville on radio show" , another 2 minutes babbling about shit
dont get your hopes high guys. If it was something about HIM i think Metal Hammer and other shits would have been reporting it. Kosmo would have announced it on his FB page to the HIM fans to listen to that radio show. No guys, no HIM this time. I fear

Yeah! Jussi said on IG yesterday "Ville Valo will be my co host entire show! Expect two buddies shooting the $hit, trying to remember all the crazy things we've been together, some very embarrassing things coming up, and lots of extremely funny things for sure too. And on top of that, absolute killer songs picked up by Ville. This is a show u should not miss!!" So I'm not expecting news but it should still be entertaining! :)

I think the bigger problem for me is I'm trying to listen while at work and they have all sorts of things blocked here haha. I'd listen on my phone but there's no cell reception in this building either. They, like, actually want us to work, or something? The horror! ::)
