but i like that he changed taxi for a bicycle altough i can see him that after he parked his 625 € machine he smoked one or two ;D
i wonder if he went to the studio because of Rambo Rimbaud or demo-ing some new HIM materials or into the rehearsal place to practice with the band?

Maybe he just went grocery shopping. Or got more cigarettes. Or went to see his secret lover. The mention of fanfiction in the other thread inspired me :D

Oh goody. I like inspiring people. I do feel like trying to write today myself. One of those days where I just want to sit around and brainstorm but then I have other things I should be doing.

To be honest he does look a little like he hasn't been taking care of himself but the winter clothes are not particularly flattering in any case.

Looks like he might have found Gas's hidden Hostess stash at their rehearsal space. He's either on his way there to pig out some more, or he's on his way to an Internet Cafe to update the website with an announcement of who the new damn drummer is.

Maybe it's just a bad pic... but drinking and smoking doesn't help when it comes to aging... and he's done his fair share.

I opened this thread thinking I'd see some horrendous picture of Ville....and I had to laugh....I think he looks just fine! LOL. Hell, maybe that's because I'm just a tad older than him. At least he's still got his hair and is keeping himself trim. Nothing worse than seeing a chubbed out singer huffing and puffing in the mic, hoping to catch his breath between choruses, wishing he'd laid off the junk food prior to touring. Hahahaha.....

It's a wet plate collodion photo (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Collodion_process), sounds like a very interesting (and also complicated) process.
The pic has sparked controversy, in any case xD

As a photographer myself, I really like this photo. I feel like Ville lately has been stepping away from his "pretty boy" image (who knows if he really wants to or if it's just age catching up to him) and it's been refreshing. Even the photo still from the KMKY video had an artsier feel to it. This isn't the most flattering angle, and the focus seems off to me (we typically always want the focus of portraits to be on the eyes whereas this one focuses more on the lower half of his face), but I appreciate the process behind it and I don't think it's a bad picture at all. I think the people who don't like it may just be having a hard time coming to terms with the fact that Ville is getting older and his partying years are catching up to him.

I am in no way a photographer and I can't really judge the picture more than 'I like it' or 'I don't like it'. But I had similar thoughts. I guess many of the people who immediately said they didn't like it or even hated it maybe don't appreciate the art, they just want the photo to look pretty and if it doesn’t they think it's bad.

I think that the fact that he's getting older it reflects here. And I think that he lost weight, that it doesn't help very much. Besides that, he appears to be fine :D In a relaxing mode :)
