Title: The vocal range of Ville Valo
Post by: Kaysa on March 07, 2015, 12:05:48 PM
There was a topic for this years ago but it kinda got out of hand.

I think his vocal range is pretty amazing so I wanted to share this more professional approach on it with you:
The Range Place: Ville Valo (http://therangeplace.forummotions.com/t3013-ville-valo)

Ville's vocal range is about 5 octaves (most people have 1,5-2), or at least that's what he was able to do at various points of his career.
They list significant high and low notes with youtube links to the spots in the songs where you can hear them and the best studio and live vocal performances based on stuff like technical difficulty, dynamics, versatility shown and emotion.

And check out this cool video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iO2IJb46CU4). It's like all the highlights in 12 minutes. I love his deep and dark singing but I'd totally die for his screaming.

That website is awesome! I always wondered how many octaves Ville technically had.

Where does this version of It's All Tears come from? http://picosong.com/fmg7 (http://picosong.com/fmg7)

What place did he come in on the poll thing they did last year? I don't remember.
