I mentioned this new artist/rising star in another thread so it may have been overlooked. She's got some real talent with great singing (she's got that raspy sound to her breathing similar to Ville) and lyrics that aren't typically found. I recommend everyone to give her a listen. She has only released two EPs so there's only a handful of songs and they differ quite a bit. Damn, I really liked this chick. She's like a heavier Lana Del Ray, who I like as well.
My favorites regarding these three samples, would be Desire, Sorry and Make a Shadow.

Meg Myers is incredible! I heard her a bit ago from Spotify playing Desire and was instantly hooked. Heart Heart Head is probably my favorite because of the raw emotion she puts in it. I'd recommend After You for a first listen.

Agreed. Love her voice. I like that the music style shifts and isn't just a girl and her guitar or a girl and her piano. She's a good mix of a lot of female artists.
Monster has been on repeat a few times.

Her new album "Sorry" is really good. I'm seeing her in concert in Los Angeles on November 17. :)

Saw her live twice so far. I love her. She's like the alt rock female Trent Reznor in some way.
